Apparently Dave Cousins wrote this whilst walking the clifftop walk from Beer to Sidmouth. That's where he caught his glimpse of heaven. Takes me back to better days. Music was infinitely superior then.
Fabulous recording of an amazing song. Especially impressed with the separation of Brian on the left channel and Dave L. on the right in the break strain.
My goodness, how this takes me back! Still perfect after so many years. My children will love this too - I sang it to them as a bedtime song for so many years.
my future wife tricked me into going to see them in glasgow in 1972...she,s a wise woman..I DID catch a glimpse of heavan...thank you for this posting ..my tears of joy are flowing...
I agree Semente - this song is so moving. I often sing it to myself when the sun is shining and I think all is well with the world. How come only 716 people have seen this video?

If this is a glimpse of Heaven, I'm going to be a good boy from now on.
