No more going downstairs from the subway, then up again to the buses (or from one bus to another); that can mean making or missing a bus that runs every 30 minutes or more, especially at night. Part 2: While there's still almost a year's worth of work to be done, the new terminal is a major step, and likely to be the most appreciated. I asked a couple of 24 drivers if it saved them any significant time getting into and out of the station compared to the old one; they said not really. One of them did say the ramp leading to and from the old terminal tended to ice up badly in winter, making it difficult to go up, and treacherous to go down!
