@planetbade 10years ago EGYPTAIR had the most modern B777 and A340/320S..but still had a poor poor reputation for keeping schedule and abysmal inflight service..there is no problem in bying new aircraft if you get cash or credit..the problem is to run an organization so It gives the service to the passangers like Malaysia airlines/Emirates or Singapore airlines does...the egyptians are not a service oriented people(sorry).

They are quarellsome,agressive and lazy as much as they are hospitable.

@planetbade I wish I was wrong about the egyptians but after many business trips between Athens-Cairo-alexandria on MS i HAVE FORMED MY OPINION.

Im a greco-swede. Mind you I m a frequent traveller on Gulfair also..the also have slipping standards, no inflight entertainment on A340,Bahrain-Manila for example...

Emirates and SIA are the best.
