its not problem of spending, the problem is what kind spending, we need a liberal Keynesian spending policy like 40-60, but with tight control on inflation and absolutely no spending on wars or corporate welfare
Why did you tag Ron paul with this Obama Question. I cant stand it when people tage Ron Pauls name to a video just because they know people are looking for anyting Ron Paul related. Your sad.
If you'll stop and think for just a second (I know you can do it!) you'll see that this question pointedly reflects Ron Paul's position on the constitutional limits on federal spending.
Because he wants to become the president of the United States of America. As an American citizen, I would like him to clarify some things about his positions before I vote.
This is my right under the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America.
If your questions are not selected, would you still vote? Maybe you should goto his website, to find your answers. It may well be a question that he has already adressed.
I will watch the debate and see if your questions will be selected!
Yes, I will still vote, and I will certainly check out his website.
Thanks! Unfortunately, after I uploaded all of these questions, I discovered that CNN will only let us submit one question for the debate. :-( I decided to submit the one where I ask Hillary why she supported using the military to return a Haitian dictator to power, and if she still thinks using the military to interfere in other countries is still a good idea after Iraq nightmare.
Why would it matter how much money we waiste it has no Gold or Silver backing its only cost us what it cost to print the Money witch amounts too 4 cents per bill produced! LoL We will Pay it back with Funny Money!
I don't think you understand how the current system works. First of all, we are borrowing money from other countries, particularly China, to pay for all these federal programs, including this crazy war. When these other countries decide to call in the debt, we will go bankrupt and our fictional economy will collapse.
Secondly, because, as you point out, we don't have gold or silver backing our currency, and we simply have a tiny little group of elites setting the inflation rates at the Federal Reserve, we have amounts to an "inflation tax".
As inflation goes up and the dollar is worth less and less, people have to pay more and more for the items they need. If you put a hundred bucks in a savings account today, it won't be worth nearly that much in twenty years. This hits poor people and the middle class harder than anyone else. The money they lose through inflation goes straight into the pockets of the Wall Street fatcats.
Obama and Clinton offer no solutions. Only Ron Paul has the courage to stand up and fight the system.
You're certainly welcome to your opinion, no matter how asinine or ill-informed. Still, many of us would like to know why he would vote AGINST a bill that reduced federal expenditures at a time when the federal government is flushing money down the toilet.
