I LOVE the concept I love the physiological aspects of it but I really can't stand the gore itself. Saw I and II had a good balance of gore, 3 and on took it a bit too far with some of them...

@theforbesman No, the key was actually OK, in the film you can se that she was able to open the lock... But since the device was directly attached to her ribs, it was just impossible to remove, even if she managed to open it. This trap was meant to be unescapable.
