Actually no its not shameful. If it was shameful then dance would never have been worldwide. If I'm not mistaking he's "teaching" this choreography to people. The only shameful part of copying this dance is if you call it your own. Otherwise, then your being inspired by a great dancer like Ben Chung. I'm not saying it's alright to copy, just as long as you add your own flavor and not call this choreography your own ;)

@garnettraypaul The problem that I've been seeing more frequently is people giving props to the choreographer and taking the dances and using them for public performances. Now giving props is all well and good but they never received permission to perform those pieces in public. That's the same as copying. I just don't understand why so many younger ppl don't understand this

well from a bboy perspective if your stealing moves off other dancers people look down their nose at you. obviously choreo is taught to be learnt but that wasn't what i disagreed with. for me dancing is about learning your foundations and creating your own style from the bottom up. you're right though there has always been an element of copycat-ism thats how specific styles evolved over the years but the word steal in terms of dancing sounds bitter to me

Every year Kaba changes when it comes to style, dancers, choreographers, and everything else to keep it fresh and constantly growing. After his time with Kaba, he joined Super Galactic Beat Manipulators that was part of the same family as the Jabbawockeez, Press Play, and Boogie Monstarz. Through there he became a Jabbawockee over time.
