I first shot the Emperor in front of a greenscreen, and then I used the Chroma Key effect on Sony Vegas Movie Studio to remove the green background, and then I added a TV effect on the Emperor to make the hologram effect.

Actually, I did use green screen. I found pictures of garages on the Internet, because they were as close as I could get to the interior of the Death Star.

We used neither. We used Sony Vegas for both greenscreen and the blue tint.

No, MovieMaker was not used at all for this. We will be using Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum Pro from now on.
