    Thank you for uploading this magical rendition! 'erniebeggs' is right: June Tabor sings it very close to the Planxty version and it is interesting to note how the piano arrangement fits so well with the mood originally conjured up by Planxty and Andy Irvine's singing.

    BTW, Andy has since re-recorded 'As I Roved Out' with only his own accompaniment on his Sobell mandola and this rare 'solo' gem can be found on Peter Ratzenbeck's album 'Resonances'.
