See what drugs can do to your voice? No doubt he still got a great voice, but it's evident that he can no longer hit the higher notes, esp when it comes to the latter part of the chorus for "Do You Really Want To Hurt Me", which he asks the audience to sing.

I don't think that's anything to do with drugs - most older men are unable to hit the notes they could in their youth. And I thought he still had a fantastic voice at Retrofest!
