@MultiUnanimous Check transmission oil, Check everything that has to do with the Carb , You could give a check on your powervalves adn if you find nothing i suggest you to search On youtube How to Maintain A Motocross Bike and watch stacker97's Video if you again find nothing go do a rebuild there you will find everything thats wrong and your bike will run 100% better. If pro racers really wanted 2-strokes back, they would MAKE it happen. they dont, because 4 strokes truly are better.. You dont think so? Ride both at a track on a hill and you wont want to touch the 2-stroke. yes, 4 strokes are heavier, but their low end power makes up for it.

Alessi actually chose the 450. Short chose the 350. And the 250 wasnt one of their options... Besides they dont have experience on smokers. Not to mention the pro rules are set up to give four strokes a huge advantage. I have ridden a four stroke. 150r, 250f, and a 450f. 150r was fun, 450f was powerful.. 250f was not fun for me. I did not like the power delivery at all. I'm way too used to the 125 and I know I'm faster on it. In the end its more about the rider.

im not a dirtbike rider but iver ridden a few bikes and its a lot of fun. i live on the water so i have a stand up jetski. my dad was like "do they still make those yamaha yz's" i said umm ya. 2 stroker 4 ever. emssions laws are killing my sport(stand up jetskis). four strokes belong in cars and quads. not any machines that are mad to be nimble and light weight. plus 4 strokers sound like chit.

I Gotta say i do love to strokes. Ive owned 5 but i just bought my first 4stroke race bike 3 days ago, its a 2007 ktm sxf450 and the only difference is that the 4 stroke has power all throughout the throttle range unlike 2 strokes is at full throttle. and 4strokes are easier to use. no mixing gas ect.

125's run at a higher RPM more generally so more oil is generally better. Remember, too much oil never hurt an engine.

@MxRider721 bit wrong there bud because if you mix in too much oil then you make the engine run lean. by that i mean fuel to air ratio.(too much air not enough fuel) and the engine will run hot sometimes causing damage.mixing too much oil in the petrol can damage your engine.

Actually I'm not wrong. A properly jetted 2-stroke will not have that problem. You're talking extreme amounts of oil. In any practical case ( AE 18:1 ) it will not be enough oil to cause that big of a change. More lubrication makes an engine run cooler not hotter. Too much oil may hurt you wallet but it will NOT hurt your bike. Go check out twostrokemotocross (.) com. Hit forum>technical>oil and ratios. Go to the second page and third post down. You will find oil ratios 101.
