The playing is pretty good, but man that guitar sounds awful. Turn down the treble or something. Maybe a little less distortion? Also, there's not big pauses in the song (the verses), he's just palm muting it to get that chunky sound.

@ChewyBoneProductions It's called playing octaves, play a power chord on 3 strings, but don't play the middle string, so like at the 5th fret on the low e hold down the 5, let that finger touch the 5th string to mute it and then have your other finger on the 7th fret of the D string, and play all 3 strings, you only hear the E and D and a lot of punk and pop punk bands use it

if you've been playing less than a month than you probably dont know what treble is. For most rock songs such as this you want 0 bass, full treble, full distort and half reverb.

Technically, there isn't. but a lot of people do the solo that way because it essentially sounds the same. They're might be like, a millisecond of a difference, and it's the type that's not noticeable unless you're being a prick, lol
