  • Lol

  • @mushroomHEADBANGERS I can't believe that you have posted this as evidence.

  • Dude, Im not being an asshole or anything, but are you fucking strung out on drugs? You look like you're about to fall to fucking pieces man. Seriously, you may need to get some help because I can spot a junkie when I see one.

  • @Charles2337 it does the gov is starting to put a lot of rules on us now

  • thanks for the vid u relieved my stress. i just got busted cause i downloaded a game fron utorrent and i got busted. i got a email today about it but now i know everythings gonna be ok.

  • @80sfanjilly,

    Nope, not going to happen.

  • me and my cousin were downloading games and a couple of hours later C.I.A called he looked at me and he says "dude the cia called' he showed me so i was like damm then a couple of mins goverment officals called i was thinking wtf over 3 game soo 10 min later we got a call from afgan noww wtf is the middle east calling 2 guys from the U.S........iam typeing this message right after this happend put commets,of send mee message

  • @ringmaster627 dumb ass little kid

  • I hope FBI does block or deleate The Pirate Bay. They did with Megaupload and Megavideo sites

  • @80sfanjilly Noooo!!! Megaupload is and was a legitimate website. ThePirateBay dosn't even host the files on their own servers. It uses Peer to Peer.

  • @80sfanjilly Yeah, and hackers anon made them pay through the nose! haha!

  • @80sfanjilly if they do delete it someone well just make another one.

  • I've been busted before, I got a completely different story, opinion from the ISP, and the process was completely different.

If you're interested in hearing it, let me know.

I'd rather not type it out in public. but I don't wanna waste my time typing it to you if you're not truly interested in hearing my story.

Regardless, this was extremely informative, and was generally accurate as to the process in which they go about things, save for a few details that differed from my experience.

  • what!?!?!? 30 movies a day!!! i fucking have never downloaded a movie, a few games maby but i tended to delete or buy them after i fished them or something. the only thing i do is stream alot of them...could you still get caught for that?

  • @JackDanielsVidz Yes, you definately can get caught using stream, and if by stream you mean utorrent or MegaXL / Stream1.98.0 / PB, you need to look up something called S.A.T.A.N

It's an IP Cracker / Anonymous surfer program.

It's completely safe and virus free, i'll put my good name on it.

  • pimples

  • stop touching your face, then you wont get pimps bro.

  • You realize you just admitted your guilt on video right?

  • There is no 100% way of avoiding piracy becuase ideas are stealed from here and there but there is a way to get money and to do this you have to cut, for movies don´t sell DVD´s, only show your product on the cinema, for the music industries don´t sell CD´s or only do concerts and nothing more, for the video game industries sorry but you got to give up on the CD games and make Arcade consoles, books stop the sells and only let them read for limited amount of time or just give up on it

  • Another thing that I hear so much is "dude lending a DVD to a friend is legal, putting a DVD for millions of people is ilegal because they lose alot of money", now what i have to say is this the goal is the same, with the first method authors lose money as well so you can´t be a hypocrit.

  • @neji0944 What if I have a million friends who I lend that DVD to? Thats legal. The problem?

  • I think with things like piracy you can´t say things are legal or ilegal, or it is legal or it isn´t. So I think yeah watching your movie with a relative is ilegal, lending a movie to friends is ilegal, putting a movie for a 50 crowd is ilegal. The point is that with the current laws authors tend to abuse piracy in there favor to get famous like in youtube but when they want more money they forget about what they done before and start complaining about their copy rights.

  • @neji0944 There is no way on this planet that watching a movie with a relative is deemed "Copyright Infringement", if so I hope they have prisons big enough for the whole fucking population on Earth. Idiocy.

  • People like you are the reason this shit is happening. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge, but seriously, you'll never watch or listen to all of that material. Be realistic.

  • @josmasterofvideos So, let's say a kids camp has a movie night. One of the staff puts on a movie for an audience of 50. That's not illegal. Another example: A community movie in the park event for the neighborhood. Also not illegal. And I do mean a purchased or rented DVD for both examples. Please explain better so I can understand. Thanks.

  • @Rhymael How's it illegal for a class to watch a movie??? Do you mean a DVD popped into the player? That wouldn't be illegal. If you meant a website, it would have to be legal like Hulu and Netflix. Of course you can watch a DVD you bought w/relatives lol!! That's definitely not illegal lol!

  • you didn't get busted for downloading you got busted for uploading, when i got caught my isp told me its okay to download but not to upload. when you download your computer automatically upload file to the internet. so if you can try to stop you computer from uploading.

  • @bigvicga You can change the settings of whatever you use for torrents to stop uploading/seeding, thanks for the tip btw.

  • @bigvicga But what happens if u get caught?

  • 2:38 CP magazine? Is that the one Pedobear founded?

  • Thumbs up if you want there to be liberation on the internet!

  • your an idiot you have nothing good to say and dont know what your talking about....

  • Who cares about your face shut up and get to the stuff your talking about... what are you a chick!

  • Comment removed

  • HOLY SHIT 100 VIDEOS a week you been making some good MONEY O_O

  • blah blahhhhh blahhhhhhh...shut up punk!

  • I'd never get caught on something as pathetic as cars 2. Most likely a guy like me, horror movies and hardcore BDSM.LOL, definitely the way to go.

  • Thanks for making this video. Very informative.

  • You get caught for downloading porn.

  • i got a letter in from cablevision because i got caught downloading cars2 which i did.. they sent us a typed letter in the mail stating that i was caught. i havent downloaded a movie since...it does suck thou but i aint gettin caught anymore...thanks

  • @jsantiago151 you got balls as big a microscopic squirrel shit!

  • When the guy called you did you delete the files you previously downloaded?

  • Sharing is caring. Isnt that what they taught us in school?

  • I live in Sweden and they've charged like 15 people in 4 years so I feel pretty safe. They have to let most ppl go because of lack of evidence, it's hilarious XD.

  • No you don't reply you cancel your service and get a new provider

  • i was just letting my friends barrow it online, a lot of my friends.

  • Thanks for the info

  • @birdystyle1 you only download once your fine don't worry birdste epic name

  • @superduperahpples Hide My Ass is to slow and a lot of websites are blocked when I used it

  • Dam it must suck living in the US.

  • @Charles2337 It does. Not just for reasons like this. Lots of stuff wrong with our country right now. :(

  • I can't remember the last time I actually payed for music. The whole idea sounds alien to me. 99.9% of people I know also download for free, even my 50 year old dad does the same. The government can't to shit all about it, it's too late.

  • i like totalllly like in love with like ipodss

  • Don't ever write a letter of apology! It can be used in a court of law to convict you.

  • Yeah just use a VPN Hide your ip behind a proxy login to an unsecured wireless network just don't use your main connection use other peoples.

  • @mushroomHEADBANGERS What do you think about the Hide My Ass VPN to hide your torrenting activity?

  • Hey what should I do on PeerBlock shows warner music group being blocked now.

  • i downloaded final cut pro from pirate bay and I'm getting nervous because people are scaring me about being caught, can someone give me a idea of what the chances are and do you think i will be caught? please someone ?

  • Seriously, all those morons who want to block the pirate bay really need to fuck off. Nothing s gonna change for them if torrent sites are gone,

  • Hey guys. i don't download torrents or stuff like that at all, but a friend of mine asked me where to find something on pirate bay. I sent him a link on facebook and got a warning. Again, is this something I should be scared of? Again, I never use this stuff.

  • HEY EVERYONE, WHAT'S THE BEST PLACE TO TORRENT FOR BLURAY FILMS THAT ARE COMPRESSED????

  • this video was made three years ago when torrents were big. dedicated file hosting sites have improved alot since then, and have basically nullified the demand for torrents. don't waste your money on things like peer guardian when you could be downloading from filesonic at 5mb+/sec.

  • no one uses torrents anymore. people only use sites like: filesonic, fileserve, hotfile, rapidshare, mediafire, uploading, megaupload, ect.

  • I just got caught using torrents at school....detention here i come

  • Mediacom Cable , uses a 3 strike rule. However, use a VPN or Torrent only VPN. I use Btguard.

  • You got off lucky. We were accused for watching a tv show that livestreams for free and were cut off from the internet with no call nor ability to defend ourselves. Gotta love America.

  • Sounds Major,

    Hope It All Goes Well,

  • thank you!

  • What an idiot. Why were you downloading 30 movies a night? Are you really shocked you were caught? People like this guy ruin it for everyone else.

  • @wildzebra485 not really people like this guy help us they go after them not us

  • @wildzebra485 I download much more than that now. It's simply due to lack of IP protection. Once you utilize an IP block-list such as PeerBlock you're chances are reduced to practically nothing. Averaging 50~ DL's a day for the past two years and not a single peep. Regardless of getting caught, it in no way ruins anything for anyone else.

  • Here's a simple illustration, I buy a DVD, I have 100 friends that want to watch that DVD, none of them want to buy the DVD, so I lend them the DVD to watch, whats the difference?

  • @TheAgonyOfVictory If you do that, you're also doing illegals things because renting the DVD or show it in public areas not inside the family circle you are doing illegal things. It's stupid, but it's what the cover of the DVD says.

  • @josmasterofvideos Nowhere in my comment did I mention the words "renting" or "showing it in public areas". Sharing copyright material isn't wrong, but to profit from the distribution of copyright material is a completely different issue.

  • @TheAgonyOfVictory I ment sharing sorry.

  • @TheAgonyOfVictory Nothing, except it is much easier with the internet.

  • @TheAgonyOfVictory Actually, I think that's illegal too. Every time a teacher on a slow day lets the class watch a movie, he's breaking the law. Makes me wonder if I'm even allowed to watch a DVD I bought with relatives in the room, or whether I'd need to buy a copy for each of them as well...

  • @Rhymael Sorry bud, but I think you have all your "facts" mixed up. I think you need to do some research into what is legal and illegal.

  • @TheAgonyOfVictory there is no difference. to an extent.. The reason they don't try to find people in the real world is it's too hard, but on the internet, if they can get to a website sharing to millions, they now know millions of people who pirated it and they can attack them. As long as you're not on a big site or something, (lets say u just email stuff to your friends) you should be just as safe as if you were letting them watch it.

  • Every one pirates at least once in their life. So Fuck SOPA.

  • @adamcdx bro i pirated alot of times lmao fuck SOPA

  • "this is america, who file shares?" uh everyone? hahahaha

  • LOL i was caught the first time ..... then the second LOL 2 week net band and $100 waiting on the 3rd

  • @BlazinNSoul too true about SOPA we are doomed man they are supposed to be "talking" about the bill as we speak as of Jan 1st and it will effectively censor the internet much like in China. The problem with this is that most of the world uses the U.S.A. as a proxy so what all you foreigners don't realize is you're going to be just as screwed as us. As of now he is right they won't bother suing you because it's hard to figure out who or what is using said IP. We've got about15 days makemcount

  • I DOWNLOAD LOTS OF PSP ISO'S SO FUN WITH CFW :)

  • Comment removed

  • Well it is not going to matter when SOPA and IP bill passes anyways. Basically everyone is going to be a criminal at that point. Every thing you type or do or link to or upload is going to be potential copyright infringement lol. Hey even those honeymoon videos which just so happen to have music in the background. So unless you write your own music better be prepared for a take-down. They will effectually destroy the web. No YouTube, Facebook, MySpace, Wikipedia, Twitter. Fuck the RIAA!!

  • don't use public trackers join a private tracker turn of dht and peer exchange in utorrent .Use a seedbox or a vpn when downloading torrents these are the safest ways to share files.

  • @munchies2001 You're correct. Private trackers are much safer. I find myself using primarily private trackers such as IPT and TD (Hardly considered private IMO). VPN is too slow but a Seedbox is fantastic if you can afford it.

  • Who the fuck runs the internet why don't these big computer companies shut down these torrents and all of these bad sights.

  • @ak23funsizd Torrents aren't illegal regardless of the content they provide.

  • @ak23funsizd torrents are not always ILLEGAL per se. in fact a lot of times companies use them legally as well. so tey wont get shut down . also the internet was initially started by the DOD ( dept of defense) for a way to communicate after a nuclear attack.

  • pg is called peer block now i think

  • @badboy94590 PeerBlock is based off of PeerGuardian code but was a forked project. Unless they've merged recently?

  • @badboy94590 it is a bitch to find in a mac version though, at least a working mac version.... My biggest question is if you have a broadband system, the modem is connected to the net an not your local machine. so the PG will block the local ip not the modems ip, how can you block the modems ip rather than your local machines ip? also now comcast sends you a email an if you do all they just say its a warning letter just ignore it

  • ohh man, i just got caught like 30 mins ago and im not taking any risk no more xD im just gonna start going the the theaters again o_o

  • @themous3kill3r i got caught about 3 months ago, i didnt take any more risks either

  • @B34stTheD34d I wouldnt worry about it now adays , ts not as bad as it used to be. did theyt send you a email or letter or phone call? comcast sent abunch of emails saying you downloaded such an such , I called like this guy said to but they were like oh dont worry about it. They send you the email because they have to , but they dont pursue it. last year I forget how many I had but it wa way more than 3

  • Also, make sure you place this copyright act under the videos you download ... it helps take them off your back in most cases. "Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use."

  • so far never heard anyone getting caught using them

  • oh well i got my download speed caped when i got caught using limewire also does anyone know if you can get caught downloading from sites like megaupload, wupload, filejungle, filesonic, fileserve, file host sites e.g.

  • @tom55441 You'll be fine on sites like that. If copyrighted material is found on those servers a request will be sent to the site requesting it be taken down. Actions aren't taken on users who download such files though from my understanding. I'd never trust such sites unless you trust the source advertising it.

  • what you want when you want it

if you go rent a movie your not paying the copyright holder anything to do so yeah they made money buy selling it to the renter but thats the same as the copier of a movie they payed for the movie but chose to copy it and give it to you for free you see what i am saying

  • or a few dollars it costs to rent it?hmm

you are still paying for internet right?so money is gained

you pay for cable right?that you are able to watch alot of the stuff that you may dl and find 2 dl

the internet is just a 1000x's better then cable anyday you are able to watch a classic movie that you want to watch that cable has not aired for maybe 10 years plus more its a much better on demand LOL

  • If DVDs were 5 dollars each I would buy them and never download again... but 20 dollars for a damned 90 minutes piece of crap? are you kidding me? THIS should be illegal and THIS is bullsh**...

  • dude...where would you even get 100 movies a week in the first place? like, did u download movies from all over the world in every language spoken and no matter how bad the movie is... And do u even watch so many movies? do u do anything else but watching movies? I'm flabbergasted listening to your story..!

  • @aymanalij I have multiple TB drives dedicated to different kinds of content. One TB for movies, one TB for shows, one TB just for new downloads, etc...I don't watch all the movies but I like having a personal archive for if/when such content isn't readily available on the internet. I consider it a hobby and enjoy having so much material at my disposal. I can make a video showing how much content I have and how I organize it all. I literally go through each file I DL and modify/verify it.

  • @mushroomHEADBANGERS I admire u soo much.. :p

  • Go to jail piracy thieves, get butt raped too.

  • torrents and hacking a router doesnt matter all your traffic is being routed thru your isp, hence they know what your doing, you cannot get away with this stuff, if its illegal you shouldn't do it, go get a job, rent a movie, stop stealing.

  • @highlander200268 Stealing ≠ copying.

  • @subkidproductions digital media being appropriated any other way other then legal is stealing, no matter how you put it, if you want legal content go to hulu, don't steal stuff that people have worked very hard to create, by doing this you are no different then any common thief that steals physical items,

  • @highlander200268 While it's true that they may have worked hard to create it, downloading a movie or a piece of software is like photocopying a book. It's better if you buy it, but no profit is lost if you wouldn't have bought it had there not been piracy.

  • @subkidproductions how is no profit lost? by downloading it you are not paying the 15-25$ a dvd costs or a few dollars it costs to rent it, of course profits are lost, you cannot justify theft, stealing is stealing, it doesn't matter how you sugar coat it, you shouldn't be treated any different then any other common thief, you should get the same punishment, just because it is not face to face or a physical tangible object doesn't mean it isn't stealing.

  • @highlander200268 EXCEPT if you wouldn't have bought it anyway. Besides, can you explain how copying a document counts as stealing it?

  • @subkidproductions hmmm so your saying because you wouldn't have bought it anyway that that makes it alright to steal the movie? that is some twisted logic you have there, and as for copying that little FBI warning that says "counterfitting" at the beginning all movies kinda sums it up, you are counterfitting the movie and the contents in it, why not print money and copy a 50$ bill? why? because its counterfitting and illegal.

  • @highlander200268 Why don't you explain why copying a document is exactly the same as stealing it.

  • @subkidproductions umm, because it doesn't belong to you? you do not hold the copyrights? you did not pay for the rights to copy it, you do not have permission from the copyright holders, you are in a sense plagiarizing the material, IE stealing it.

  • @highlander200268 It's not stealing, it's copying. You have to admit that. I may not be the copyright holder, but calling copying files stealing is like calling taking a picture kidnapping.

  • @subkidproductions umm ok, tell you what, copy a webpage code by code and see if you don't get sued, or copy money and see if you don't go to prison, its not stealing? since when?, question to you, Do you own these movies you are downloading? no? well theft is taking property that does not belong to you, how much clearer can you get? if you are not sure what theft is look it up on wiki

  • use peerblock for torrents and ultrasurf for ip and localisation (working with all browsers) and your safe!

  • buy a cheap laptop, turn on ur wireless, hack ur own router.. download ur content.

  • dont let them bully you. sharing isnt illegal.

  • that must suck...

  • Every time I get a letter I cool down for a bit, you know RELAX..... then boot up again! Youhavedownloaded(xxdotxx)com it shows you what the Gov't can see about your current IP.

  • what are the chances of getting caught?

  • whats a really good free way to block your ip?

  • i could never figure out the torrent thing so i just use direct downloads

  • @codyboone05 So if you download brand new movies like Cars 2 ON RELEASE you could get a letter from your Internet Provider saying that they will cut off your internet service and fine you(I did)

  • Wow ur downloading 2 much... they look for large uses of bandwidth... shoulda stayed low key...

  • My bro. Homes got caught b4

  • what a boss , 30!!! movies a night

  • damn, i just downloaded saints row the third.....i'm glad i watched this video thnx a lot

  • can i be still be caught because i downloaded like 40 games and movies and i live in the philippines

  • @Hellstromist Yes you can be caught and arrested charged with a felony Under the new SOPA law you can be jailed for 5 years and sued for lots of money be careeful if this law passes

  • Comment removed

  • @Hellstromist go to jail thief

  • @WestcoastMusicals too bad cuz its not gonna happen cuz i live in the philippines

  • you helped me out alot thanks :D!

  • "This is America. Who fileshares?" - lol.

  • Also one final thing:

    5. STAY on the pirate bay. They are the best torrent site out of all.

  • @JoeA320Pilot you get caught really easy off pirate bay dude!

  • Timewarner is my ISP and they are the most committed in this "Copyright" bullshit. When it's just plain stupid trying to catch people.

Anyways I've never been caught by them how do I do it here's some tips:

    1. Use Utorrent it's used less by the RIAA and MPAA still you gotta watch out.

    2. Stay away from popular torrents like: Transformers, Spiderman 3, and new releases they are infested with trackers.

    3. Don't seed, yeah you might be a dick for that but you won't get caught.

    4. Peerblock

  • @JoeA320Pilot what do u mean by dont speed?

  • @TheAaron1924 seed, which basically means after your torrent is done downloading it starts uploading the file so other people can download it (P2P)

  • @JoeA320Pilot Ironically I handle some of TWC's abuse requests they get from Paramount and similar companies. I manage networks that contain residents who pirate data and some of them get caught. When such requests are sent to TWC they are forwarded to us to locate the resident as utilize NAT on our networks. I agree with points 2 and 4.

  • This is a good trick get your laptop put it near a windows find somethinking like belkin, netgear linsystem with no password connect to that and you will gt wifi from another persons router haha they get done

  • i went straight to pirate bay after this :D

  • Just don't download any new movies or music.

Seriously people, is that new Justin Bieber album or Adam Sandler movie so amazing you need to see it now?

Either wait or stick to older (and usually better) stuff.

  • Its only illegal if you actually get a profit or upload the illegally downloaded Torrent...I download Torrents all the time just to play at home...Like I downloaded San Andreas because the Gamestop workers won't let me buy it :I

  • umm i downloaded Transformers 3 is that bad it came out in july and its december is that ok? its not "Brand New" its like 5 months old is that ok? :D

  • @dmnoob

Yes, downloading a shitty movie like that should get you jail time.

  • @Vebinz It's the only movie ive downloaded except one from 1997 :p

  • @dmnoob dude I downloaded transformers 3 and got caught...lol fuck paramount pictures

  • Use peer guardian/peer block and it hides you ip address from everyone.

Using it I have never been caught.

  • I have a free and easy tip for the users of utorrent that has helped me. It's worked for over 1 year, some people say it slows it down, but I can't tell any difference. Send me a personal message if you are interested, I don't like to post in the comments of vids.

  • i got caught for downloading all of the seasons of south park..after my mom finished reading the letter from my isp,she fucking tore shit up.

  • @xXMrModderXx And now ur in Jail Right??

  • If download only a couple would this happen to you?

  • ok its called moderation downloading excess amounts of stuff is a sure way to get caught

  • I just have to say this. This video has deterred me from ever downloading anything else on the internet unless it's an attachment I get in an email and it has to be something that the person created, like a word-processing file; a manuscript for a beta-reading they want me to do, a picture or whatever. I don't want to go through all this drama. It's not worth it. Most likely I will upload videos of my creation, my random rants I record, and browse. No downloading. Thanks, mushroom!

  • Wow...

  • Given a majority of people have no clue how p2p works at the technical level, couldn't the tracker or client generate a few random fake peer IP addresses, so that Warner Music Group, law, etc can attack and harass totally innocent users. utorrent has an option to Add Peer, so like I entered 205.143.68.150:80 which is the ip address of wmg.com, lol. That would be an interesting experiment.

  • well your a dumb ass you don't download 30 things at once
