The way I can tell is that they pop out of no where. I'm dealing with a fake antivirus right now actually it's called vista home security 2012. It came out of nowhere
@TheUnkownBlade Ugh, that virus is horrid. It tries to block the internet, right? Try ending the process in task manager and running whatever antivirus you have, for this one I recommend Ad-Aware free or Malwarebytes', but whatever you have SHOULD be good if it will run with the virus.
I got one of these about 15 mins ago from just looking at pics on google images I got a message that there was viruses on my machine and it scared me. I didnt dare click on anything but I went into task manager and closed firefox that way. It was obviously fake b/c Avast would have said threat detected but it didnt. the site was malarstwo , grafpoint , pl
the computer i had when i was a kid bluescreened about... 20 tmes a day cuz of this and when that popup went on runescape...i didnt play for 2 years...LOL
@DylanBStringer91 thanks for watching! I reccomend VIPRE Premium Antivirus and MalwareBytes to remove it! Two very easy programs! VIPRE is new and great I purchased it myself. Run them both. MalwareBytes is free VIPRE is 30day.
@robotron35 If you have this pop up. go to start, run, type in MRT and press enter. Do a deep scan and it should remove it. Then go to avast.com and install it and do a deep scan with avast. then it should remove them all. If it blocks those sites then you have it bad.
i downloaded one of this shit time ago and i think it damaged my computer thankfully it disapeard now...thank u for this video...i got avast internet sicurity antivirus on my pc.
whew. thank you. i actually went to one of these sites and i could tell it was fake because the "pop-up" window that appeared after a few seconds on the site was "clickable." that is, when i put the cursor over it, the little white glove appeared, telling me that it was actually a link, and not actually a true window.
A good antivirus is Avast, I personally recommend it as it prevents malicious websites from appearing before the browser sees it.
