  • Excellent version, better than the 1970's or 1972's, but is sad,see him reading the words from the paper.Everything was changed, but the great voice was still there.

  • Our King is always BRILLIANT!!!

  • Last concert and still The King

  • He might not have been slim and trim anymore, but there was nothing wrong with his voice, that's for sure.

  • 4elvis was the greatest entertainer to step in front of a mic

  • Is he reading the lyrics from a sheet there?

  • @fergality41 Yes, he sang hundreds of songs over the course of his long career. Toward the end, he had forgotten the words to even some of his most well known songs. This song wasn't even one of his. It shouldn't be surprising that he needed to read the words. He still did a great performance.

  • Which note is 4:01?

  • @al853 he briefly pops up to a G

  • when hearing this song, i hear Jesus Christ speaking to each and all of us personally...

  • I LOVE ELVIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thumbs up and Happy to subscribe to your great channel.

  • is there a way that I would be able to tranfer the performances from the 19th and 21st on to a dvd? hope am not being cheeky, by the way, my name is Davie

  • its ok, it was the way I wrote the message I think, I love these video's you posted its the first time I have heard this version of bridge, to be honest, I never knew elvis sang this during his last performances

do you have full versions of his last shows? I have got his performance on a dvd I downloaded a couple of years back which is the full show from the 24th June 1977

anyway, am glad we have sorted out the misunderstanding and look forward to watching more of your video's on here

  • @MrFishmonger1 Yes I do have the full show from the 26th. I also have full shows from the 19th and 21st. Sometime soon, I hope to get more videos up.

I'm glad we got it sorted out too. Thank you for watching my videos.

  • @classicwax please do. these are very good quality for amateur videos. far better than the crap that everyone else has uploaded.

  • @MrFishmonger1 you mean there's a dvd of june 26th???!!!!! I sooo want that :D

  • I was actually thanking you, sorry for any misunderstandings caused,

  • @MrFishmonger1No problem. I misunderstood what you were saying.

  • ooh, this gave me chills. elvis had the most unique voice that will ever be.there will never be another singer this great. thank you so much for posting this. i think it was the most amazing video that i've seen in a while. god bless, margie

  • oh God a voice from heaven thanks for putting this on i never seen it befor

  • oh God a voice from heaven

  • Elvis's incredible voice never failed him. Elvis the king forever.

  • Stunning voice to the very end. Rest in peace E. & thank you so much for uploading.

  • At the end the man was sick but he still delivered which is more than I can say for some guys who get a cold and act as if they are on their deathbed! It makes me so mad, this criticism! Like the other fans said, it is clear his vocal capacity was always there. As for his tired body, it quit ... his inside was unwell. Poor darling! Love you my king! PS Elvis worked his butt off 'til the end! Until this day so many people around the world are living off him! Think about it!

  • Christ, he's reading the lyrics off a piece of paper! {He was an unwitting predecessor to karaoke!} Sad and and pathetic, because he still had the voice til' the end, and he truly WAS the king. At the end he was a sad carictature of his former greatness.

  • @bcushing it was a damn gimmic for crying out loud. he did that with lots of songs to pretend to people who never seen him perform before that he didnt know the song.. he also loved to change lyrics without notice too so quit trying toi make him look feeble because he knew what he was doing on stage. it was an act cant you understenad that he was an entertainer and the worlds greatest at that

  • @mofoca22 No it was NOT a gimmick, he was so fucking strung out, he couldn't remember the fucking words, and it was before the days of teleprompters. It was sad spectacle for a man of his immmense talents, and obviously a harbringer to his sad end. YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!

  • @bcushing you dont know what the fuck your talking about. i have concerts of elvis on dvd when he wasnt strung out using the lyrics sheet. goes to show you how much you friggen know. your an elvis hater and god only knows why your hear trashing the guy unless your a jealous michael the fucking jackson fan or a lil boy so in love with just in beaver

  • @mofoca22 I'm a 47 year old career musician, AND an Elvis fan. Unlike some of you though, I choose not to worship him blindly. Near the end, he still had the pipes, but he was a bloated, doped up carictature of his former greatness. John Lennon put it best.."Elvis died when he joined the army"..Sorry the truth hurts.

  • Elvis may have left this earth but he will never leave our hearts!

  • The video IS NOT all from INDY!!! I'm tired of seeing this over & over. Do some research.

  • @Phoenix7878 Point taken...No need to post this over & over, I'm tired of seeing this...

  • @classicwax then don't fuckin tune into it then you muppet, presley fans like myself appreciate clips like this

  • @MrFishmonger1 well, I'm glad you appreciate clips like this. Are you thanking me or criticizing me for posting this video???

  • @Phoenix7878 it is too i have the damn thing on dvd the video looks differnet from time to time because its tyaken from differenty sources. many people filmed this concert on cheap video cameras back then so you ar ethe one who needs to there research on something you dont kno what your talking about mack

  • ok....this is really starting to annoying. PARTS of this is Indy, but most of the footage isf from Binghampton, NY,

  • Elvis's talent never faltered, he was magic right until the end. He always gave his heart and soul to his fans. Elvis the king forever.

  • He is the only singer who makes me cry when I watch him. Elvis was one of a kind and I can honestly say that I loved him! Rest in peace Big E!

  • @dannyvanore I love him too, truly and completely and without any reservations!

  • Magic Magic absolutely Magic

  • I think he was always very beautiful & he still is very beautiful in Heaven. :+) I love Elvis! ♥ He´s the most beautiful & sexiest man ever! And he also has the most beautiful voice I´ve ever heard!!!

  • Sure his looks might not have been as sharp as it was many years prior. But this performance is as gold as the version he did in 1970 and 1972. Elvis never lost the power in his voice, the power that made him the legend that he was. Spectacular right until the end. R.I.P King.

  • @HKBdivine he never lost his image. his weight increase was, in my opinion a sign that he was a human, not just a musical machine. the girls still liked him. even at his last concert when he was most unhealthy one of the fans had a banner saying 'kiss me elvis'

  • the last concert 6-26-77 market square arena. this is good footage but there must be better footage out there. if any of you in the youtube world have such footage, upload it. cstanchik

  • There will never b another like him, todays performers, groups, don't even come close. Elvis had so much more in soul, charisma, ability to deliver, just awesome.

  • it seems some of my film that i took over 32 years ago has appeard here many a time often in the wrong colours and bad quality-the transfer is wrong on vhs from 18 years ago.

  • like so many others before him and since, where was his bridge over troubled water? sure he was the king, he ran the show, but still someone, had to know, someone could've led him out of the darkness before it enveloped him.

  • His "bridge" was no longer there. And when it came back ... was already to late.

  • @Elisheva75 ISNT THAT SAD~HE DID SO MUCH FOR SO MANY~AND NOBODY REALLY STAYED THERE FOR HIM~LIKE MANY HE CROSSED THAT BRIDGE ALONE~BUT HE LEFT US WITH A ~MAGIC~ THAT CAN NEVER BE COPIED, HE IS STILL~THE KING~

  • @mosesmama Surrounded by friends yet a lonely soul... It still breaks my heart.

  • I am devastated to see the King singing this beautiful song just weeks before he passed away. Long live the kind

  • More rare & Unsee Elvis Pix ?

    RareElvisPresley Com

  • tThe King lives on...a big woppen 10+ an amazing song love it !!!!!!

  • ESTE FUE EL ULTIMPO CONCIERTO DE ELVIS

  • This just shows that the King was in top vocal form up to the very end!!

  • i agree ;)

  • I totally agree. His voice still sounds hauntinly brilliant here.

    Long live the King.

    Kevin

  • He sung it so many times, how come he still need a sheet paper :O?

  • He was forgetting the words, at this point in his career. He is still the best there ever was.

  • he sings this song like nobody tanks elvis i will always love you...

  • love you forever

  • Elvis you were truly a remarkable man. I miss you so very much and will always love you!!

  • The best vesion of this music.

  • I'm speechless!

  • he will allways be the king of rockn roll

  • I bet your parents will not forget this beautiful concert and this remarkable Artist of all times,my oncle went to his show in 1976 and told how a good artist he is and that is how I arrived to be his fan

  • I thought this was at yhe fairgrounds...Theyve demolished Market Square Arena and the Conseco Fieldhouse is suppose to be horrible for concerts...my older sister was born arond this time

  • I was like 10 or 11, and my parents and sister went to see this concert. I rememeber the dissapointment my parents had, My mom wich was a Elvis fan said he looked fat and bloated, and that his words were slurred and jumbled. My mother said that it was Elvis on his way out.... It was shortley there after that I was sitting on the deck of our pool and heard the announcment that elvis had died.. It was a sad day in American history

  • if u read the book called "down at the end of lonely street the life and death of elvis presley" it has everything in that book...... what he died of..... etc he died of cushings syndrome, bone cancer, he was going blind and the "bloated" part well...... he had 2 take steroids 2 keep the vaulve's of his heart open so as they wouldn't close up on him......................................... topbrowser i'm not like correcting u or anything like that just letting u know what he died of
