I've also ridden over this bridge many times on my bike. SO sad. I hope we don't lose more of our covered bridges with this flooding...

My childhood back yard was to the right of this video - the corner of the bridge actually sat in our yard (they house was later moved due to regular flooding). We used to play inside it and climb on the beams underneath. So many memories swept away!!

Thanks for the video. Sad to see, very sad. That's the covered bridge closest to where I live. For years I've ridden through that bridge on my bike, up past the "chicken barn," heading out to parts northwest from my home near Mountville.

@kstadden Correction: I was thinking of the Bridge Valley Road covered bridge, which is the next one upstream (or downstream, not sure...). We visited that one tonight and it's hanging on, but barely. I hope we don't lose more bridges.
