I've won this game before (not this particular booth at the Lagoon, I live in California) but the strange this is, I win the ring toss about two times out of 3 plays. (10 rings per play, costs $2) The only reason I win this game is since I've made a near exact replica of the game at home. It has less bottles, but still over 250 of them, as well as the desk and distance from the player to the bottles. I did the same thing with the Rebound game and am now a master at it, so you should try it out.
@PolarBearMath I actually won this game earlier this year by throwing the rings one at a time. A big part of this game is luck (like most Lagoon games), but I was throwing the rings like a frisbee and happened to catch the bottle just right. I will probably never win this game again, but it was fun.
@lagoonisfun My friend and I both won this game last week. The secret is to throw two rings at a time. When they hit the bottle the top one stabilizes the bottom on the bottle.
@tennistar222 That sounds like a good idea. I just may have to get a handful of people together to test this idea and see how lucky we get. Do you throw the two rings like a frisbee?
@lagoonisfun Yeah make sure they are perfectly on top of each other and then toss it gently with little to no spin at the front bottle and you've got yourself a winner! P.S. My friend and I went back again and won 3 more times! It really does work it just takes some patience and concentration
