Awesome production man, you did good, I always find it satisfying when you cut edits together at appropriate times. Good timing, good thought, great video. thumbs definately up
The first part where the T-800 is being manufactured, is taken from a T2 limited edition trailer...it wasn't widely shown, but I do believe it's included in the featurettes of T2 special edition if you browse for the movie trailers.
Although bone is a material, it's also descriptive of a structure that supports an organism from the inside and allow it to move regardless if it's actually made of bone or not.....so technically he is bad to the bone...just that his bones are made of steel...lol.
@MrKerag True, but that's a secondary function of organic bones and mostly the spine that does that. Primary function of all bones is to support the main structure and in some cases provide some protection. It's no differant a comparison to an artificial heart, arms or legs....it's just a Terminator is much more advanced and is nearly entirely artificial except for the external skin (which can be argued is artificial to an extent because it is cloned and vat grown, not naturaly forming).
@BigRedKane yeah...but thats what i'm talking about... blood is needed to sustain our flesh functional...it feeds cells with oxygen and stuff... plus it really does need a heart to keep it in flow... and third...blood needs to be generated all the time... terminators living tissue is missing all theese. Most of his body is endoskeleton..and flesh has a small mass... mass is needed to keep blood flowing with the right pressure... etc etc...
@MrKerag Terminators aren't lacking in blood in as much as they don't entirely require it to be functional. They do, however, require cloned blood with the flesh to keep the flesh part of them alive otherwise it'd just start rotting or have an unrealistic deathly look making them useless infiltrators. Blood is what gives skin and flesh it's healthy look. It's irrelivant as to what Terminator's require their "bone structure" for...The primary purpose is the same - support to enable movement.
@MrKerag There are animals out there that don't have a skeleton that still require a circulation, if bones were imperative to this then such animals would not be able to exist, they would die as soon as they are born. Also with advanced enough technology anything can be replicated artificially, the Terminators are supposed to be super-sophisticated cyborgs from the future using technology that isn't around yet (however, Skynet stole some key ideas from human databases).
@MrKerag perhaps you have difficulty differentiating animals from mammals, mammals are a subsection of the animal kingdom...I did not say mammals...I said animals, the two aren't the same. And how does "skeleton" even remotely look like "heart"??? Terminators don't require a heart as humans or any other creature does, but they would most definately require a pump of some kind to keep the blood going for their cloned flesh, they wouldn't get very far as infiltrators otherwise.
@BigRedKane perhaps you have a difficulty of understanding biology...I was talking about mammals..because we are mammals... since that flesh was cloned from people... blood needs a heart to be in a flow...if blood doesn't move trough flesh.. cells start to die and flesh starts to rot... terminator doesn't have a heart... and he definitely doesnt have bones to generate a new blood... and another thing... terminator doesn't eat... no flesh can sustain itself for a long period without that..
I inculded some T3 scenes as they still feature the T-800 series and other terminators. Although this track was used in T2, I felt it could easily apply to all terminators.
Also this isn't an advert for T2...lol, just a fan made tribute video to the Terminators as a whole.
Thanks for your comment though, it's a fair question. :-)
I agree that T3 isn't as good as T2, but then I don't think T2 is as good as T1, they seem to get progressively tamer as the sequals roll on regarding the "horror/gore" side of things. However I liked some of the concepts in T3 and some of the action scenes. I'm also pleased that T3 proves neither man nor machine can win the war in the past (time paradox otherwise). The TX was also pretty hot in T3, 'bout time they did a hot looking Terminator...lol.
what is this film on the clip? rambo or rocky? i dont remember
