could you tell me how you made the shape of the pickguard? I would like to put a similar "mustang" pickguard on my cyclone. And it would be easy or possible to put a jazzmaster coils on that squier?
Hmm I played a mustang once and it was very different I have to say, especially the neck, but the bridge and pickups are very different too. I think it has more resemblence to an early music master, though I've never played one. Anyway, thanks a lot for the comment!
Well I dont really do tabs, but it's not really that hard if you got the chords and the melody down. You can easily find the chords on internet and the melody isnt that hard to figure out once you have the chords under control, its basically the notes c d e f in the key of Aminor. Then just try to combine it all by fooling around with it, that's what I do. Glad you like it! (that is to all commenters, I'm getting more views than I expected)
oh just the pickguard, I cut it out myself and painted it ofcourse;) and I replace thetone and volume knobs by the ones that used to be on my old richwood telecaster, and I must say that was really an improvement, I dont know I just like the feeling of sliding along them with my hand. And I think they look better too. It needs new frets thouhg, and I need a new guitar anyway lol.
sweet!

Its a secret Jag-stang. It was released two years after the jag-stang and it has everything that it lacked and what people wanted in it.

the squier cyclone is a cheap and versatile guitar, but it has not the quality on the sound and the touch of a fender..
