  • Charlie Collins was a great friend and super musician, I'm sure going to miss him.

  • Rip Charles Collins

  • Man, country music doesn't get enough recognition... when people think about "country music" they think all that country-pop nonsense, and don't even care to listen to some amazing players like these guys! Great upload, thanks!

  • Sounds soooooooo much like Brother Oswald! Mike Webb is keeping Oz's sound alive for the next generation. Great video and good to see Charlie Collins.

  • Wow what talent!!

    Carolyn

  • ......awesome!!!!

  • Simply Beautiful !

  • Great picken Mike , I had to drive to Nashville to get Os's lick that He put on the circle album , it is a timing lick and not a roll !

  • Thanks so very much Ozarks for posting this. I love it. Great to see Charlie Collins performing still. Anyone know about Howdy Forrester or other former members of the Acuff band?

  • Howdy Forrester passed away a number of years ago.

  • Mike, thanks for keeping Oswald's legacy alive and well. I have a friend, Clarke Powell, who is also a wonderful exponent of his style. Wish you two could meet.

  • Great stuff .. Only wish we could have had a closeup of his great work.

  • I'll remember your wish if I happen to run into these folks again. I should have pulled in tight with the lens but didn't think of it.

  • Oswald laid the foundation for every dobro player today, no matter the style. Mike is is a true devotee and student of the style and is keeping it alive. It's also great to hear the tone of Oswald's old dobro.

  • Wonderful....the "Master" still lives....
