  • put the dog down

  • That is a huge Goose!

  • This video would have been a lot cuter if the dog was more curious and friendly to the swan rather than barking at it. Glad none of the animals were harmed because of he owner's desire to stir up something, thinking that it's cute.

  • lol calm down he had the dog on a leash. If things were to get heated he couldve just pulled the dog away easily.

  • Well who won the war!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It's amazing how they just glide on top of the water, calmly...

  • @MarkMck1994 are you serious?

  • @SunnyGill247 you dont know how bad a goose attack hurts do u? it can easily kill a dog and even injure a human pretty bad. geese have teeth on their tounge and bill and when they get a hold of something they grind on it until the bone. I'm assuming that swans have the same type of bill setup. especially when there is young involved then its just mother natures instinct and whatever is in the way.

  • The dogs owner is an idiot... If it came to the worst, the male and female swans would probably have killed or seriously injured the dog.

I really wonder about how stupid people can be.

  • you stupid Oldman !! Swans are like Unicorns and dragons they are allmost mitological and beautifull you Moron!!

  • @swriel Swans are assholes.

  • american brittany!

  • the dogs owner knows .. swans can brutal attack ? :D trust me this dog is finisht :D

  • Should have let the dog go for a better video.

  • The dogs owner has to be a real plank! He would be getting lauched into the water if i was there.

  • The dog owner had his dog's tail cut off I highly doubt he cares about it's well being. Specially after letting a swan get close to it. I'm sure they can kill dogs.

  • @hbunnyo A lot of time the Breeder does it. While swans are big birds I think people give them too much credit.

  • @hbunnyo the breeders dock dogs tails at a few weeks of age as its not normal to have a dog tail docked later in life unless its been broken etc. Also some breeds are born with naturally docked tails, this dog looks like a spanial which have naturally docked tails.

  • @lilbabypyro Hmm well still docking isn't normal. Unless naturally born that way or for medical reasons.

  • @hbunnyo Swans will attack full grown men and could even do some damage. You definitely would not let your kids go near one. There used to be a realy agressive one in my old village when i was a small kid, it chased me a couple times.

  • @edgarloike You're right. I'd punch it before it got near a child though.

  • @hbunnyo not if i punch you before you punch the swan :)

  • @dingoprairie Well that's just silly.

  • @edgarloike you're a pansy.. what's it going to do, little swan beat you to death with feathers or its light hollow bones.. humans are stupid and more dangerous to the world than anything.

  • @dingoprairie You sir are just a retard. "when i was a small kid" a swan stood taller than me. And yea.. a full grown man could destroy a swan if he was cowardly enough to do so. Also a Swan is more than capable of causing damage, even more so if it catches you in water and has only your head to peck at.

  • the swan has babies....

  • Very responsible owners letting their dog go in the water with a swan with young, a swan could easily drown a human yet alone a dog.

  • @zZHighTimeZz hahah you're so stupid. you should stay home and never go out the front door i think the tree might kill you :D

  • @dingoprairie not as stupid as your pointless and dumb comment, while mine was fact, i once saw a dog nearly get drowned by swans before and the dogs owners reaction was that swans are nice magical creatures. Like the owner of the dog i witnessed your both morons.

  • wow, swan's big

  • swans can break a persons arm with their wing i can only imagine what it would do to a tiny dog like that

  • That was dangerous, because the swan can kill a dog.

  • avvasvsvsvdvdvdvffvfvfdfvffvdvfvvfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

  • I hate seeing how pet owners, especially dog owners, let thier pets enter a potentially bad situations where entertainment overrules common sense. Thinking just because they attack or seem peaceful, nature is not such a beast! Think people or risk being turned into the ASPCA for being crule to an animal and posting it on the web!! See ya

  • Swans are very protective of their signets. That daddy would die defending his mate and his chicks. Human daddies should take a lesson. Of course so should human mamas.

  • I WOULD LOVE TO SEE A SWAN KILL A DOG! ......IT WOULD MAKE MY DAY!!!!!

  • Do this only when you can accept a dead dog.

  • I was walking on the lake shore this weekend with my family, my bro's 3 dogs, ones a border collie, others a dachshund, and a jackrussel-dachshund dog, and only the border collie had the guts until the swan started to move to us...

  • How did i end up here o.O?

  • How stupid and irresponsible is that dog's owner? Why would you let the dog go near its young. Obviously the owner does not care about the swan, its babies, or even his own dog as some or all are likely to get hurt because he is not thinking.

  • The stupid owners of that dog had no right to let in in the water seeing the swans were there. OR letting it get in their faces barking. Irresponsible. A swan has a 7-foot wingspan and they have been known to actually grab the wheels of a small private plane to try to attack. They are EXTREMLY aggressive when protecting their nests/babies (as any animal would be); otherwise friendly if they get to know you. Respect them and leave them in peace. And yes, it could have easily killed the dog.

  • What is the owner doing?

  • an adult swan can break a man's leg with its wing.

  • @alfuso can the wing also knock you unconscious?

  • Unless the dog chases the swan out to the water the dog would just flat out eat the swan

  • @Beamer22 swans are just as dangerous outside the water as they are in the water. some swans are known to chase after threats and attack them with their wings. especially with when there are babies or a nest near by.

swans are beautiful but never have a dog near them swans will not have mercy on it.

  • @lebell32 Yes, swans can be really nasty, just like ducks and geese. They bite really hard!

  • @gnossticc yes but mostly out of self defense

  • wow that swan was like ''what? u want something'? and just calmly swam right over in the dogs face while it barked and showed its teeth and the swan was like ''i dont give a fuck yo, lets battle''

  • The dog's owner is an idiot

  • @bluslash nop he knows what we like to watch

  • @bluslash i agree totally!!

  • Lol, my brother got chased by a swan when he was about 7, he tried to stroke one of the signets.... Mummy wasn't happy. Fucking hilarious.

  • Swan: "Not only do I look pretty gliding up to you in the water, I'm gonna look damn good whoopin' that ass, dog."

  • good thing the dog was on a leash cuz that swan would have torn it a new asshole

  • swans, deceptively prettty and graceful, are agressive and hostile as hell, and even more so when there are babies...

  • That's the male & wait until you see my BOSS!

  • not sure how it is over in France, but here in the states if you let your dog do that you can get a nice ticket for harrassing wildlife.

  • Idiot owners, want stuffing

  • A swan will chew up a dog that size without trying...... and it would've of been the shit-for-brains dog owner at fault for the dogs death.

  • @lukebccb Your stupid there is no way a dog would loose to swan first off they have no teeth 2 there mouth does not open that far 3 they are just plain weak and slow compared to a dog. Btw dogs have always been built to kill swans are vegeterian.

  • @AlTheKiller2460 Swans are perfectly capable of mauling or killing smallish dogs. They typically attempt to drown them by holding the skin on the back of the neck and standing on them - pretty much the same way they deal with rival swans and smaller birds that try to invade their territory. So, generally, small dog + water + swan in breeding season = a really bad idea.

  • @ashenspark Of curse a SMALL dog can get drown buy a swan but to do damage is completely ridiculous. My dog is probably a little smaller then that swan and she would tear it to shreds, its all about how much drive the dog has to kill it.

  • swans are known to be mean anyway i dont think that guy shouldve let his dog go anywhere near them

  • I would kick your stupid dog... or you for harrassing those swans.

  • @CleverDjembe Not the dogs fault, kick the owner by all means, that swan could seriously hurt the dog or vice versa

  • STOP LOOKING AT ME SSWAN!

  • lol a lot of people don't know, but swan are highly territorial...and aggressive....

  • covard

  • THAT FUCKING DOG IS GOING TO BE BEATEN TO DEATH YOU IDIOT

  • aww hoped that the dog get's a critcal hit on hes head

  • You pair of morons! The Swan Parents would have you and your dog!!!!! you Ignorant barstewards!

  • @izzywabbit breaking bones? yehhh no. They can five u some powerful bruises though. And those beaks are tougher then you think.

  • Are you aware that a swan's wings are capable of breaking bones?

    KEEP YOUR EFFING DOG AWAY

  • Bloody Dog's

  • how ould yo u like it if i came and barked at your mum

  • what a complete twat,

  • I can imagine "Aww look at Bonzo!! Hes trying to make fiends with the swan. How cute!!" People these days!!

  • You blind or something? That dog was after the swans kids!!

  • that swan will literally EAT that dog, peck by peck. they are smarter than humans. this "sitting on the water" stuff is just an act to observe humans' atomic brain physiology and exact thought.

  • @davetista swans are smarter than humans? In what way? That's a rather loose claim, and some simple trials would debunk that theory pretty quickly. Although I'm not entirely sure what you mean by the word 'smarter', I find it hard to believe that a swan, with its tiny brain, has the capacity to do many of the mental and conceptual tasks that human beings can do.

  • Comment removed

  • @Azz1883 oh but you see exactly how the swans have implanted that very thought into your head. they are always one step ahead. they think for you like a puppeteer with his puppet. mwahahahahahaha!

  • the dog is lucky the swan didn't get ahold of it 10 ft out.

the swan would have drowned it easily.

    swans float, dogs don't.

  • Shame on you for allowing your dog to harass swans with defenseless babies!

  • Yikes. Swans are quite dangerous.

  • its a rat dog anyway, shame the swan didn't get the better of it!

  • My foot Vs. Swan

  • STOP LOOKING AT ME SWAAAN

  • My dog would have eaten that swan lol

  • i heard that they hiss... pretty cool

  • On land, a dog will win, on water a swan will.

  • thats actually the father fighting the dog... the males are extremely aggressive whether he has cygnets to protect or not

  • They won't usually attack. We live next to a canal and my Labrador barks all day at the swans and they hiss back. It's a love hate thing. They're really pissed off at eachother but they have this wierd kind of mutual respect. Each knows that the other one will not attack...

  • i hae these gay birds

  • @MisterMiep "hae" is not a word.

  • @chaoscleaner sry i meant hate

  • Owner of the dog is a fuckin stupid munchkin

  • 1st prize biggest cnut on youtube, the owner of that dog

  • Why you gotta let your dog be bad? Only bad dogs go after birds.

  • @pradon1337 no the dog just hasnt been trained well, its natural instinct for dogs to go after birds and other animals like that

  • @flyingSnakess yes but this mostly has to do with them letting their dog after them, Hes on a god damn leash even!

  • Geez, swans are mean enough when they DON'T have babies!

  • Looks like the dog was just playing and the swan making sure he was just playing lol

  • don't do it doggy

  • Dogs are usually as aggressive as their owners.

  • If the owners of that dog did that in my home town where swans are beloved he would of got fined big time. I think its just mean to allow the dog to do that. Its like a bully in highschool.

  • @meta1515 Allow the dog to do what? Bark? Because that's more like the guy who usually gets bullied threatening the bully.

Trust me, in a fight, the dog would have come out the loser there.

  • @Azexa

The point that meta1515 is trying to make is that the stupid dog owners are intentionally ALLOWING the dog to go into the water. The swans have young and in my opinion, it's the dog owners who are stupid here. As well as you. Not Meta1515 or the dog,

I own a german Shepherd and would NEVER encourage this type of behaviour or agression.

I really hope that you don't own a dog. For everyone's sake. You'd be crap at it.

  • 1. Who's discussing the intelligence of the dog here? I was just noting that a dog like that is not coming out on top in a conflict with a swan.

    2. Personal insults based around an assumption that I would let my dog do that? What are you, five? No where did I say that I approve of them allowing their dog to go out there and bother those swans. Hell, the opposite is implied by me stating that the dog was the one in trouble had the swan decided to actually do something.

  • @meta1515

I totally agree. It's a case of stupid dog, stupid owners!

  • Killed a swan on a golf course with my tee shot one time (accident),cost me $500.

  • thats a big swan!!!!! and that dog is probly full grown and looks like a tiny little midget next to it. pooor doggie!!!!

  • is that a beagle?

  • @PeruvianSkillz it's a springer spaniel

  • what is that a GSP? GOOOD DOGGIE

  • nobody fucks with Mr Swan

  • hahahaha lmao xDDD

  • @argonnj LOL LOL

  • Wow! That dog stood it's ground! Against a swan, that's tough to do. :) go doggie!

  • @ohmss069 Yes, swans as well as geese can be very nasty and mean.

  • swans know kung fu too.

  • A female that is protecting her babies is not to be played with.

  • @Gr8Teaist Agreed, they can and WILL kill that dog if they really feel threatened, they can fuck your day up pretty good for being a bird........Yea they are beautiful, but that's more the reason to admire in distance.

  • @Gr8Teaist

That "female" facing off with the dog is the father. The mother is over there near the cygnets.

  • @TheGryphonGold Whatever - just how can you be sure of that?

  • @Gr8Teaist Because it's the father that's the first to confront possible threats to the children, as is the case with just about any species where both the male and female parents raise the offspring.

  • @TheGryphonGold That still doesn't prove your assertion. Whatever!

  • @Gr8Teaist Yes, it does. That the father is the one to confront possible threats does prove that the father is the one confronting the possible threat.

    Whatever!

  • @TheGryphonGold No it doesn't!

  • @Gr8Teaist Yes it does!

  • @TheGryphonGold LOL!

  • @TheGryphonGold That's not true. In many species of birds of prey where parents share raising duties, the female tends to be the one that's larger and much more aggressive than her mate. In acquiring nests, the females are the ones that usually drive out any previous occupants like crows or owls. Same thing with defending nests. Swans are a different species, but since both parents tend to be the same size, they tend to share those duties. Can you even id the gender of the attacker here?

  • @roflcopterIII That is not true, very few bird spieces have larger females than males.

  • @KoivuTheHab Look up birds of prey. Look up the respective male to female sexual dimorphism. Look up the nesting behavior associated with that. It's pretty well documented. Falcons are especially skewed in that regard.

  • @roflcopterIII You are talking about something else now, rather irrelevant. Very very few bird species have larger females than males.

  • @Gr8Teaist I scared of a duck once and took its eggs..yeah they died. WOOPS.

  • @Gr8Teaist Damn straight :D

  • @Gr8Teaist WRONG! thats the male swan not the female.

  • @Gr8Teaist Female swans don't protect their young. Males do. The female flees if it senses danger and only stands up if the male is absent.

  • Also, are you lot retarded? The dog and his owner have a right to swim in a public place.

Also, swans can injure small animals and even kill them in the water but it is fucking ridiculous to say a swan could /break a man's leg/. I'm a wildlife rehabilitation specialist and I've dealt with lots of swans. They are /not/ dangerous to adults. At most their wings can sting you. That's about the whole of it.

  • swans are fucking metal

  • pfft..!old people and their games...!let them enjoy the last days of their lives..!

  • \Pussy!!!

  • thats strange...four thumbs down for saying the same thing as someone who got 5 thumbs up.

  • You mean homosexual?

  • I've seen a swan take off a man's head clean off with its beek. My dog ate my breakfast so I couldn't get it on video.

  • The owner is stupid. Swans have been known to break peoples bones, with the strength of their wings.

  • like when?

  • what sort of grown man lets his dog bark at swans with babys>? cnt

  • ik i thought the same thing, poor swans gracefull animals i hope it beaked that dog up good

  • Why the dog? The owner!

  • eh both i guess, ik i shouldnt judge the dog because 99% of dog behavior is directly from owners but still it just made me mad,my collie would never act like that, shed sit and appreciate it

  • hehe funny

  • you have gotta be an idiot to have so little regard for your dogs safety. what a moron lets his dog swim thowards a big ass swan with babys.

    it´ll wreck the dog up.

  • I wonder if they ever get stiff necks.

  • Don't mess with that swan dog, he/she will kill you. Probably a he because they always protect the babies and stuff.

  • keep your fucking dog away from the damn swan. Idiot.

  • @listigt Let the dog eat the swan

  • @listigt Make me...

  • It's not that the owner if a bitch and it's not a fucking dog. It is it's natural reaction if it doesn't know what the creature is.

  • a swam can break your leg, its a very powerful animal...

  • nice brittney i have one

  • That dog is lucky it didn't actually square off with the swan in the water -- on land is one thing, but in the water, that swan would easily drown the dog. (Have seen it happen before. Not pretty to watch.)

  • the owner of the dog is a prick, he should of kept his dog away from them, epspecialy the cygnets

  • well they ARRREEEE frenchies.. ._.

  • Lol the dog will fight the small swan and the mother comes and the dog swims back hahahhaa

  • two years ago my neighbors swan wandered across his farm to our place. I never knew how huge those things are.

  • The swan sort of shied away from the dog after a while.

  • my dad had 6 swans as pet......believe me no one could even come closer to them except our family.....they are more loyal than dogs and horses, they were use to move freely at aroud the house and were great companion guys.......dogs cant even compete them 10% as a pet!

  • Those two men with the dog looked old enough to have more sense, they should have kept their dog well away from the Swans, especially the cygnets. It was irresponsible behaviour. The dog or the swan could have been hurt.

  • how can a swan hurt a dog? haha dangerous for the swans more like most dogs could kill a swan easily by biting its neck and shaking it off
