  • Global warming is the trend idiot, it's not a straight line up,

  • "i could not make this up"

Except you did. FUCKING LIAR. What an Idiot.

Climate Change=Global Warming. FUCKING IDIOT. It was 123 degrees in Minnesota this last week. Pretty odd hmm? You are a TROLL with a WEBCAM. Go find a REAL job and stop poisoning the intellectual well with your worthless sophistry and denouncing real science. Oh right: republicans don't believe in science or any economics past "feed the starving wealthy"

  • This video is stupid. His stupid jokes are unbarable. Global Warming is real, and scientific evidence proves this wacko wrong. Obama has created government jobs through regulations, and that is a good thing. This is not how the world works. This guy is an ass clown saying all these phony made p biased reports about the president. It is about time this guy knows government regulation is good, his stupid company rich friends will have to deal with it. Suck it up, dude!

  • @TheQueenofbeads What an intellectual response

  • this is all bullshit not to mentio this isnt how the world works its how u think america works

  • I would like to report this video as inappropriate for the video's senseless commentary on the author's hateful personal agenda. This author cannot stand other's views and refuses to try to understand other points of view. I have much pity for this author and others who feel the same. I pray they will be able to understand that hate is not the answer.

  • You are right

  • @sovietunionish you are WRONG

  • With baby boomers staring to retire in record numbers unemployment should be going down on its own, so why isn't it?

  • @AbuAvital ask yourself who's holding onto the jobs? Corporate Executives make the decision to pocket the cash instead of making a whole economy that works through business growth. But what the fuck do i know? After all, common sense has no place in a discussion about economics apparently.

  • Lebanon, not Lebonon, lets start simple Mr. Right, we'll get to politics soon, no need to rush when we can't rise.

  • Trying to take Bill O'Reilly's place.

  • Please, kill yourself.

  • ALso, Global Warming is not a hoax. As a member of the scientific community I find your rejection of all the empirical scientific evidence in support of Global Warming deeply disturbing. Science isn't something where you get to pick and choose what you believe in like religion, it is based solely on what we know and the evidence we have that supports and theories. But what do you know, you're not a scientist.

  • Obama actually created alot more than half a million jobs. It's more like 4 million.

  • @Frostbite864 Wrong! he actually has created 603394983 Million Jobs, get your facts straight, Obama laughs at 4 million jobs, he creates those during his day off. I mean c'mon, we're talking about our new God who is not even really a human, he's going to rule the world next.

  • @Kyocera234 I'm just repeating what the statistics show. I don't think sarcasm alone is going to be enough to dicredit something that is factual.

  • @Frostbite864 yes the Huffington post is just loaded with facts

  • @Frostbite864 Please just Google "obama created 4 million jobs" it's very simple, immediately puts your "Fact" to rest my friend.

  • @Kyocera234 If you seriously think the Drudge report is any less biased than the Huffington post then you are crazy. Obama places the estimate at 4 million. Let's both settle for wikipedia: The CBO's estimate back in 2010 was a more conservative 1.8-2.1 million. In July 2010, the Council of Economic Advisers estimated that the stimulus had "saved or created between 2.5 and 3.6 million jobs as of the second quarter of 2010. It's been a year since then and new estimates are at about 4 million.

  • Dearest Blind Idiot

I was about to completely debunk your position on global CLIMATE CHANGE! But then I realized it you are just not worth it.

  • Dearest Libertarian Whacko,

Have you heard of the Congressional Budget Office? It the one responsible for the job gain statistics that you so dutifully and ignorantly claim "can not be proven by anybody." I encourage you to look up their reports; you might actually learn something based in reality rather than spending time bloviating obligatory right-wing nonsense.

  • @punkyvid The CBO works to calculate such numbers based on the legislation, and what the legislation says, not what actually happens. Garbage in, garbage out.

  • @nosoop4u246 Usually that is true, but not in this case. The CBO's reports to which I'm referring are the "Estimated Impact of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act on Employment and Economic Output" filed each quarter. Section 1512(e) of the law requires the CBO to comment on reports filed by recipients of the Act's funding that detail the number of jobs funded through their activities.

  • @itsbudda Well no kidding its biased, he said it was so in another one of his videos addressing and explaining his political stand point. as for no evidence... are you kidding me? or are you just being another stubborn liberal who refuses to listen to the conservative stand point? damn trolls

  • hi hi hi hi i like chese hi hi hi hjih ihihihih ihihihihihih im so hungry im not gay ha ha ah it elmos wold im going to kill some ong and go watch elno elmo elmo elmo elmo elmo elmo

  • All your video contains are totally biased opinions without any sort of defense. It's almost as if you just try to say stuff too outrageous to even be questioned.

  • Global Warming=Flat world.

Only the narrow minded Zombies of the media and public education believe that garbage. Anyone that does their worth in shit of research would know Global temperatures are 100X more influenced by the Sun and by Global Volcanic activity. If Man has any real influence on global temperatures and the ecosystem it is caused by the Massive amount of Pavement we are covering the planet with. Since it is kinda hard to fight pavement so we fight OIL because your clueless

  • ignorance. sure cap and trade sucks, but you're still an idiot for doubting climate change isn't taking place. . . idiot

  • @caucasianjake "climate change". another phrase for tricking stupid people.

  • @rohw0016 Well it's a good thing you weren't born a little over 500 years ago, otherwise we would be arguing about whether the world was flat. The science is real. Climate change is fact...

  • @caucasianjake Is it now? - a question for you genius. In the 70's they predicted an upcoming ice age. In the 80's till now the temperatures were suppose to rise which would cause the water levels to rise (you know like in Al Gumps satire called "Inconvenient Truth"). It was called "global warming". Now it has morphed into "climate change". Why is that? Well they've already fooled retards like you but it still gets cold and smart people know this. Thus, "climate change" covers ALL weather.

  • @Jeetman63 They called it global warming because they were referring to the "green house effect" of which I'm sure you'll try to deny exists. But they realized that, to the layperson like yourself, the term 'global warming' could be confused to mean that the Earth is actually going to get warmer. But what it really means is that the increase in greenhouse gases is going to alter the climate patterns through higher heat absorptions throughout the world, combined with steady absorptions in others.

  • My dear friend. You are misrepresenting Global Warming. And for the record, Obama did create jobs. And no metric for proving it? Oh please. The jobs lost during Obama's first 3 months in office due to the recession were all blamed on Obama. Don't be a hypocrite.

  • @DefendInsanity "no metric for proving it?"- You respond to that by saying that the jobs lost in the first three months were blamed on Obama? What does that have to do with anything? How do you prove whether or not a job is "saved"? How could you prove a number as large as 600,000? I just don't understand what you are saying.

  • I have to say, this is one of my favorite videos of you.

  • I remember when HTWW's world spun backwards and this guy never would blink. lol

  • this guy is a real JOKE... idiot is giving him to much credit.

  • you sir are an idiot. Why don't you back up your subjective reporting with some papers published in credible journals to get some credibility. Of course you can't cause your wrong. No one with a brain would back you up.

  • you sir are an idiot.

  • You just lost every bit of credibility with your typical "Oh it's snowing in the summer and they still say there is global WARMING?"-comment on global warming. 1) global warming refers to an increase of the AVERAGE temperature AROUND the world of only A FEW centigrades. Chances are you wouldn't really notice the actual increase.

  • @BennieboyRys you my friend are a trolling bitch.

  • 2) Still, even that very small increase can upset a very delicate and complex system with some bizarre and seemingly illogical consequences. For example those few centigrades will cause the melting of a lot of ice from the north pole. That cold water will then flow into the Atlantic and interrupt the Gulfstream that normally carries warm water to Europe. As such the temperatures in Europe would drop because of the global (yes indeed) warming.

  • Buddy, top economists including Sen. John Mccain's former advisor, have stated that the steps taken by the Obama administration saved aproxx 8 million jobs preventing the Us frpm going into another depression, so without a doubt it's prety fucking imortant to mention this to the people. He got the shittiest hand out of any president in 90 something years and has managed to turn it around. You should just shut the fuck up and be grateful he cleaned up the Republicans mess.

  • I wonder what this guy will talk about after Obama leaves office.

  • well you see idiot, global warming can create both warmer, and colder climate, i thought you saw that in the simpsons -.-

  • @TheBeeFart SOMETIMES IT IS COLD SOME TIMES IT IS WARM, IT IS CALLED WEATHER. We have all these eco-wackos out there that think if they say can foresee patterns of warming over the next 20 years and of the past 100 years, when Frank the weather man can't tell me if it is going to rain tomorrow. Why the hell should I believe anything those "Climatetologists" say.

  • @Dav1dZMan well you see idiot, (you saw what i did there ^^) the overall "weather" has been increasd by 2 degreeds, "what only 2 degreeds, that aint much" well it is, you see those 1+1 numbers are melting the poles, if you havent noticed, (look at some statistics)... blame my english on that im from sweden, what ya expect?

  • @TheBeeFart can you produce these facts from any place that isn't making money off of climate change/global warming.

  • @Dav1dZMan/ watch?v=t7T7beACtQs

not sure if its legit, but looks like it

  • Question with you're reasoning Reagan had no new net Jobs.......

  • A job that was not lost because Government Stimulus is net gain........ because without it you have a net job loss..............

  • Dude.......I know two teachers personally, who got there Job back, from the federal Stimulus money after being laid off................. and one who Just 40,000 to got to school with that same money...........

  • @mrgetrealpeople I hear you... my city PD just announced they are able to save several jobs and hire several more officers thanks directly to the stimulus money. Doesn't really bode well for a 'tanned' fellow like myself, lol, but the money IS helping areas that weren't too pig-headed (no pun intended) to accept it.

  • Dude.......I know two teachers personally, who got there Job back, from the federal Stimulus money after being laid off................. and one who Just 40,000 to got to school with that same money...........

  • @jeannshi umm no the globe is spinning correctly.

  • fool

  • Nice video, fuck the nay sayers and keep going.

  • there are many plausible arguments against global warming, but i suggest you dont try to make your own argument unless you're a bit more educated in the area. if you do try, you just make yourself look like a complete idiot to anyone who's taken an 8th grade earth science course (much like you did in this video, my little brother caught your idiotic explanation of why global warming is illogical, and brought it to my attention.)

  • LOL you idiot, global warming can contribute to increased snow fall in many different ways. heavy and increased winter precipitation can be caused by a warmer atmosphere. Basically, a warmer atmo/ can hold much more water, and the warmer surface temperatures can be held accountable for the increased rate of evaporation > which leads to precipitation (rain and snow). Both the snow, and the temperature for the region are consistent with global warming theories.

  • @nyteen

in the 90's enviro-malcontents made their point clear---we aren't getting snow because of global warming.

only to now say--all that snow we got---guess what did it? global warming,

  • hey your world is spinning the wrong way at the beginning

  • @AggressiveAtheist

Do yourself a favor and use your head for something other than storing nuts.

  • how much of the icecap has to melt away before you stop ignoreing global warming?

  • @RynKen

Now is your chance to help save the planet, if you hurry down to the local Walmart and get some of Big Al's green snakeoil we will all be saved. Hahahahahah

  • @ Mrlfreeman

I've learned not to feed trolls.

  • Thank God Obama saved Wall Street's jobs. Look at those out of work and struggling with bills, where is our bailout! Democrats would be talking about how horrible things were now if McCain was pres doing exactly as Obama.

  • Keep up the good work. This is an excellent video

  • I just took a crap in my toilet and flushed it and at the same time I saved 100 billion jobs for the entire world.......PROVE ME WRONG.

  • no it's not

    ALL hail ala

al gore created the internet and this is complet bull

  • Obama is destroying this country.

  • Obama's "Energy Czar" Carol Browner is from "Socialist International" an organization that believes in Global Governance by enviromental methods and shrinking the largest economies down to match the majority of moderate sized countrys (sound familiar). If you google Ms. Browner you will find that all associations with the Socialist org have been scrub from the internet, very Maxists indeed.

  • White House boasts: We 'control' news media

Communications chief offers shocking confession to foreign government

White House Communications Director Anita Dunn disclosed to the Dominican government at a videotaped conference.

"Very rarely did we communicate through the press anything that we didn't absolutely control," said Dunn.

Dunn was speaking at a Jan. 12, 2009, event focusing on Obama's media tactics and hosted by the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development.

  • The liberal, incapable of defending the indefensible, always resorts to slander, invective or innuendo in an attempt to shore up their position. Without fail, this is how the liberal will always respond when confronted with the truth. Truth is poison to the liberal.

  • lol.

    I LOVE HOW YOU CLAIM,

    THE REAL NEWS DIED.

and you just sound like a FOX NEWS CONTRIBUTOR.

  • I should have fucking known this teleprompter reading douchebag was a Macfag.

  • Right on dude! What the hell did obama ever do for this country? The media and hollywood have worked sooo hard to create this cult of personality but there is no substance to this man? A 2 yr senator. Before that? community organizer. Big friggen deal. And the dems have the balls to bash Palin for lack of experience and being unqualified as a VP? Cmon already, I would think that a governor would know 1000 times more about running a country than a senator anyday of the week!.

    This guy is a commy

  • Were you raped by a retard and it rubbed off on your brain or something? What part of planet insane do you live on? You're still bitter for Palin? HAHAHA

I love the fact that you hate Obama more than you love your country! It shows your true colors! Idiots like you claim to be patriots, but you wold rather see America fail than Obama win!

It must be really messed up when democracy has spoken, people voted and they voted AGAINST people like YOU!

  • So ohomo what has obama done so far? Nobel peace prize for what? Shitting and wiping his as for 12 days? With that as a benchmark george bush should be right up there with mother teresa. You're damn right I am insane with this poser as a leader apologizing all over the place for the u.s. What kind of true patriot would support this asshole 'cept another asshole. I guess you were just itching for someone to assign you a $38k debt while providing NOTHING of substance for u or this country.

  • Weird... I have no debt, I love my country, my president, freedom and democracy! You HATE all that! I paid off my car, education and house, I don't need a bailout, but I need my president to squash the vermin that calls itself a patriot yet it cheers and hopes that America fails, i.e. YOU! YOU are a bigot and a trator!

  • One more thing pea brain, we live in a country where I can HATE the president and what he stands for as much as I want. Its called a democracy. Nothing was stopping you idiots from bashing bush when he was in office. Did you know that bill Clinton signed the bill sponsored by Barney frank which relaxed the lending policies that got us into this mess? But when Bush pointed out the risks he was poopooed as a party pooper by the dems. Learn some history first you illiterate troll.

  • MarxistStudant, you do know that Marxism was less about the ideas of Marx and more a cult of personality, right?

  • Now Comrade listen to this:

"I chose the system which has demanded less blood. "

Don't polarize, there aren't only two systems! There are many communist ideologies, socialist ones, many of witch hasn't been even tested, but there is one that was tested requiring no bloodshed. The Commune de Paris was installed without violence and the only violence it displayed was due the atack of the capitalist forces!

So you'd have to be a socialist that defend the kind of government therewas in the commune.

  • The Commune de Paris only existed for a period of two months in 1871. It's pure speculation to declare one way or another whether it would have been self-sustaining over a long period of time.

  • Speculation? A two months is better than not a second. It was working comrade, by the way that is why it was destroyed! Capitalism destroyed it for a reason. The capitalist saw a treath in that commune. Free education, people taking part in politics, no police (all were part of the national gueard). Comrade, the capitalist aren't idiots, they knew it was a trath to their order BECAUSE it was working. People worked! People wanted it (the imense majority) and capitalists killed them!!!

  • I find it interesting that you speak of how capitalism may take 200 (now 500) years to fail, and yet you point to a two-month period in the chaos following the Franco-Prussian war as your shining example of success. The "national guard" existed because Paris had been actively under siege by the Germans just a few months before the commune formed. I'm simply observing that there is no way to know whether it would have survived if it had been practiced over a longer period of time.

  • How long feudalism took to fall? Around 1000 years. Capitalism is 500 years old, maybe it's still have another 500 years.

The Commune only failed because of EXTERNAL forces. Capitalism will fall due INTERNAL ones.

  • Feudalism is different from capitalism. Feudalism kept the serfs in check with the omnipresent threat of force. And this commune you keep referring to was no paradise; its formation not entirely bloodless. 74 people, mostly priests and former government officials, were imprisoned by the Commune de Paris; 50 were executed before it fell. As for your prediction, I guess we'll just wait and see.

  • Feudalism was a clas system based on exploiter and exploited, diferent from capitalim, that is another class system.

About the commune, 74 people arested? What would you expect? Some resisted violentely and didn't wanted the democratically elected government to exist. 50 executed... The commune abolished death penality, but during a siege some people do things they are not suposed to do, yet the capitalists proved FAR WORSE executing 30k, imprisioning 40k, and killing other 20k during the siege.

  • I am sorry to tell you comrade that what you claim is "true capitalism" never existed. People oposed the captalism that existed, what I'd call real or historical capitalism. But if you care to read Marx, his economical ideas are developed based on Smith's "real capitalism" or ideal one. Capitalism will never be as you want because people oppose to it. Some people don't want it, they democratically ellect opposers to it. The only way to have a PURE or "true capitalism" is imposing it, with force.

  • I could say much the same about communism - as you have acknowledged, it, too, has never been implemented the way you envision it. You speak theoretically of the need to use force in order to implement pure capitalism (please elaborate), but there are millions of people in the real world who didn't want communism, and died for that reason alone. Both systems have ugly shortcomings in the real world - I chose the system which has demanded less blood.

  • Capitalism, pure capitalism, free market, etc, etc, etc. Is something some people don't want. The bourgois themselves don't want a PURE capitalism because they want to be protected from foreingners competition. Some workers don't wan't it because they see it not working, that is what a strike means "we want an intervention for better wages". Communist and socialist don't want it. You'd have to impose it, its eventual crisis would make it very clear.

  • Rand touches on a concept similar to your "bourgeois protectionism" in Atlas Shrugged - one large, established, but slowly failing railroad kills a rising competitor through the passing of an anti-competition measure, and then continues to sink. I agree, that's an aspect of "impure" capitalism that I don't like, and companies suffer for it - just look at General Motors. Protectionism has its own history of failure. True capitalism welcomes competition. It forces prices down and spurs innovation.

  • The bourgoisie is the rulling class of capitalism and they don't want your ideal capitalism !!! Workers (rulled class) want laws to assure minimum wage, payed vacations, etc. those laws regualte the market (goes against free-market), so the workers don't want your ideal capitalism !!!

Only those who belive blindly in the marked defend it, and we have terrible things durring the free-market history besides its failure in 1929.

  • Whatever the shortcomings of the free-market system, we have not seen the kind of outright democide committed by its adherents which has historically been exhibited by communists and socialists. I personally view the bourgeois/proletariat classification system as being far out of date; an obtuse attempt to label a demographic whose destruction is sought by those who are doing the labeling. Have you ever heard of Christopher Gardner? Success comes to those who are willing to work for it.

  • Yes it has. Colonization, slavery, exploitation, massacres, destroction of cultures, cultural domination, economical domination, 2 world wars, imperialism, inter-imperial wars, violent represion to worker manifestations, the massacre of the commune de paris and other many manifestations, state-terrorism (such as Israel), dictatorships all around the world: Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Uruguai, Haiti, others in Africa and Asia, etc.

Success comes from "Virtu and Fortuna" hard-work and luck.

  • Okay. Very few of the things you listed above are actually capitalist concepts, or were caused by capitalism - most actually are social, as opposed to economic, problems. The world wars, for example? Nazi Germany was a socialist government. Slavery (unpaid, involuntary, forced labor) is antithetical to the very concept of capitalism, and rightly met with moral disgust by modern civilization. I don't even want to get started with you on Israel. But I do agree: success comes from hard work.

  • "I wouldn't want this system forced on the unwilling" Sorry to tell you it has been many many times.

"Mutual agreement, mutual benefit" Little children agreed to work 15 hours a day in industries during the industrial revolution, for ridiculous wages! What benefit did they get from such market? They died at age 25!

Comrade, eraze from your mind the blind faith you have on the market. Look at the facts!! They workers fought for a reason, they organized strikes against the market.

  • "Colonization, slavery, exploitation, massacres, destroction of cultures, cultural domination, economical domination" - All those happened in my country by capitalist Portugal!

"imperialism, inter-imperial wars, violent represion to worker manifestations, the massacre of the commune de paris and other many manifestations" - This kind of thing happened in Europe and your very country !

"state-terrorism // Israel" - Israel is a capitalist country that uses state terrorism against the palestine.

  • I have already acknowledged that capitalism has its shortcomings, and that true FMC may never be implemented. I don't appreciate you saying that I'm in denial when you refuse to acknowledge that you are an adherent to a political philosophy, the attempted implementation of which has resulted in over 100 million deaths worldwide. You're an idealist. You say you've renounced violence, and I respect that. But when idealism meets reality, it's rarely reality that backs down.

  • I will ask you to take a look at some videos, form Marx in Soho:

    -Marx on communism

    -Marx on Commune de Paris

    -Marx on capitalism

I will also ask you to also question the "super powers" of the market, and take a look at the capitalist terrors in history, remembering that capitalism existed since 1450-1500 in some countries such as Portugal.

About idealism, perhaps the music "imagine" by John Lenon will explain you a few ideas.

  • I think it's safe to say by this point that neither of us is going to convince the other to change our minds. As I will be unable to reply again for some time, I wish to end this discussion on civil terms, so I will just say this. Believe whatever you wish to believe, but do not lose sight of the dangers of allowing like-minded people to tell you what to think about your opposition. Reach across borders, learn what they actually believe and why.

  • For sure none of us is wiling to change our minds, but I'd like to leave you some questions about a few things:

-What Nazism had of socialist despite its name?

-Wasn't Fascism a form of capitalism?

-Have the market alone brought benefits to the people, or some laws were needed to distribute the wealth?

-Does the mistakes of the Soviet Union (that I deslike) justifie the mistakes of other capitalists?

-Ideas such as surplus-vaule and historical materialism means anything to you?

    Meditate about it

  • Also, there is a way to undermine companies which exhibit the kind of "bourgeois" protectionist behavior you're describing. Introduce a competitor to the market. Companies are made weaker by behaving that way (again, General Motors) and, unless propped up by gov't fiat, will eventually collapse on their own - workers can choose jobs which offer them better benefits, rather than demanding by force (unionization) wages or other things the company can't afford to provide without cutting workers.

  • Either way, you'd impose this to the bourgois, they'd not like you much for sure, but: Free-market requires no government intervention, no laws assuring minimum wage, 8 hours day, vacations, no working class laws. The workers made their strikes against the free-market! To make a free-market would be to impose it to the majority of the people! No moral and ethical system can allow something to be imposed to a minority! Your ideal Capitalism would have to be imposed to the people!

  • Who says you need government intervention to have those things? I've walked away from shitty jobs before. People can choose where they wish to work. By denying labor to such an abusive company, the abusive company weakens, while those competing companies which offer the desired benefits gain workers. Still, I wouldn't want this system forced on the unwilling, nor would I want communism or socialism forced on me. Mutual agreement, mutual benefit.

  • This is pathetic, before those laws you had terrible wages EVERYWHERE. "people can chose where they will work" haha, comrade some people have nothing! They have to work or they'll starve, and they will accept ANY abusive wage to survive.

Companies need a limited number of workers, a far smaller one than the number of unemployed workers that are willing to work for a few cents!

"companies which offer the desired benefits gain workers" no, they will be defeated by their opponents who compete beter

  • There is bloodshed without communism in your country, or BY your country. It has made over 70 militar interventions in Latin America only.

Capitalism has made many dichtatorships, colonies, slavery, massacres around history. Its terror are not acceptable just because some idiots misapplied communism in Russia and elsewhere.

The goal of marxism is not your material triunph (unachievable one), but your free-development as a human being.

  • "An association in witch the free-development of each is the condition for teh free development of all" to reach a society in witch you have "from each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs".

I dare you then telling me what was wrong with the commune de paris, the world's firsth socialist experiment. Tell me what had it of evil and blooshed inside the commune, but please don't create facts about it, read a litte before telling me anything about it.

  • Capitalism evolved from the middle ages feudalism, socialism evolved from industrial capitalism.

Socialism refers to ANY ideology that seeks the elimination of classes for all the world. Anarchism (original one) and communism (marxist one) are both socialists. Socialism refers to no authority.

Comrade, "I could live consealed inside a nutshell and count myself king of infinite space" you live in capitalism, it is your nutshell. Meditate a litte about it...

  • they worked for al gore, now i'm convinced they were paid to be released

  • So? It's better to come home then to be stuck 12 years in a labour camp.

  • oh man that was great lol thank you

i have to donate you some bucks haha

  • Is is strange that my inner monologue sounds just like the How The World Works guy.

Keep up the good work HTWW guy you are one of the few truly conservative voices on youtube.

P.S. Please think of a youtube name for yourself. It's hard for me to keep referring to you as How The World Works guy.

  • This guy seems to be one of those so conservative and right-winger guy who is up to defend Bush fully.

  • Dig a little deeper before condemning him - he's voiced opposition to Bush's fiscal policy, too.

Most people are more complicated than just left or right. The real danger is when we lose sight of that and allow like-minded people to tell us what to think about the other side, without going out to learn it on our own.

  • Thanks for the warning, but he is a right winger, or he at least seems like one. Remebering there are many "kinds" of right wingers from fascist to libertarians, but I will take a look at some other of his videos. Thank you.

  • Even when you do come to that conclusion (right-winger is accurate, but I wouldn't call him far-right), don't let it stop you from watching his videos. I'm something of a libertarian (little-'l', not big-'L') myself, and I think it's the failure of both sides to communicate which has led to the kind of polarization we see today.

  • The fact tahta you admit to being a marxist is proof you are an idiot. Marxism FAILED in Russia. Mayeb you should read a little. Either way I'm ready to take up arms against you anyday you people step over the line.

  • ChicoCDM,

Your last comment is a proff you have such poor respect and knoledge about marxism, I wonder if you know what kind of govenment Marx proposes.

"an association in witch the free-development of each is the condition for the free-development of all"

Russians didn't applied such association. Stalin grabbed all the power to himself, making a dictatorship over the proletarium.

How can one thing fails without being fully tested? Much of the marxist principles were discarted or replaced.

  • Let me be very clear. I DON't CARE WHAT YOUR INTERPRETATION IS! Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Sandinistas, Cuba Venezuela, The Kamer Rouge - I don't care what their versions were either. I do know this - I'm fine with you being a marxist BUT 1) stay away from me 2) I'd rather die a violent death than allow Marxism to start any movement in THIS country like it has destroyed my people and people wherever it goes. Swastika or Sickle and Hammer. ITS NOT COOL!

  • What can I say, your display of tolerance seems very nice. I'd ask you to take a look at the commune de paris and catalonia during the spanish civil war. There you have very democratic exemples of socialism, not perfetely marxist, but ratter cool.

I'd aslo like to remember that capitalism has caused more wars, dictatorships, intreventions, colonization, slavery, exploitation, etc, than socialist experiments.

  • Whatever!? I don't care for your opinion. To you tolerance is only agreeing with you. So don't give me your nonesense. Wars existed LONG before Marxism and Capitalism. BUT there has been MORE human suffering under Marxist ideas - you always seem to leave out the political prisoners and shutting down of descent. Either way - I'm ready to shed blood with you people if you try to take over America. I'm ready - so start your revolution - I'll be on the otherside. MARXISM IS NOT COOL!

  • "Capital punishment cannot be justified in any society calling people similar" Karl Marx to NY tribune;

There is a difference between claiming you'r appling marxist ideas and trully being appling it.

I don't defend the USSR, but if you care to take a look at the commune de paris, you'll find out what a nice display of "tollerance, democracy and justice", you surely like, the ones who destroyed the commune diplayed.

Marxism is good, but some so called "marxists" were and are evil.

  • I'll be straight forward. If I had known you for years and you were over my house and said you were a Marxist. I would immediately tell you "GET THE F*&K OUT OF MY HOUSE NOW!" And if you didn't leave you'd prolly get hurt. And I don't care WHAT you think about that. I won't play games with you people.

  • That is what I mean by a display of intolerance. I never used violence against a capitalist, but you seem eager to do such agaisnts communists.

"(true) Democracy is the path to socialism" Karl Marx

Don't worry, I won't point a gun at your face, capitalism will fall by itself.

"You can't fool all of the people, all of the time" A. Lincoln

One day, the working class (90 - 95% of the people) will find out that they have nothing to lose and the world to win, and will unite.

  • Exactly my point. I don't care what you think is tolerant - I'd head butt you right in the face you come to me in with that crap. And I am unappologetic about the physical harm I would bring to you if you were trying to convert me to your perverted ideology. And I'll be unappologetic if you tried to start your revolution here - I'm trigger happy for Marxist/socialists. Violence is the ONLY thing Marxists understand.

  • Dude... calm down or shut up. From one capitalist to another, you're not helping.

  • With all due respect I absolultely wlll NOT shut up. I don't think you know what you are dealing with, I'm from Central America and the most destructive thing to happen to my people are the Marxsits. They are always sweet and "tolerant" only they are not. When they finally take power they arrest opposition, they shut down descent or outright kill. My father was a Marxist and there is NOTHING innocent about their vision. Don't be mistaken. These people are downright evil underneath.

  • Look up the Khmer Rouge over 2 million killed in he name of a "tolerant" marxist revolution. The Sandinistas of Nicaruagua, Venesuela, Bolivia, Cuba, Germany, Russia, El Salvador, Honduras - nothing but death and carniage with the Marxists and its always "for the people."

  • I'm not as familiar with marxism in central and south America, but I'm very aware of how dangerous the ideology is. China and the USSR killed nearly 100 million people in the name of communism, and that's to say nothing of Vietnam, North Korea, Cambodia, and all the other nations that bought into it. Their propaganda is largely built on straw men and stereotyping opponents; all I am saying is that MarxistStudant (sic) is and will simply continue using your threats of violence to discredit you.

  • I do find it interesting that MarxistStudant is talking about Marxism being peaceful and tolerant, when it was Marx himself who wrote "The last capitalist we hang shall be the one who sold us the rope."

(another note, I really shouldn't say Cambodia, Laos, and South Vietnam "bought into it," it was anything but voluntary)

  • I know where you are coming from but my life experiences say that you cannot be polite with these people as they are not and will not be polite with you. Many if not most don't know the history of their ideology. The remaining hide what they know is the truth. The question to ask any Marxist is "What do you do to the people who DO NOT want to partake in your system" They won't answer because history tells us they do bad things to those people. VERY BAD THINGS.

  • lol

  • "capitalism will fall by itself" remember when communism fell in the soviet union? why would a doctor spend $350,000 or more and dedicate 10 years of their life to education, so that they can make the same as some ordinary clown laying asphalt? and if socialism works, why don't they start socializing all the grades in that of a classroom?

  • Capitalism will fall by itself. It may take more 200 years for such, but it will fall. This are how things works: Thesis + Anti-thesis = Syntesis (becomes the new thesis).

Misapplied socialism (such as in the Soviet Union) is terrible, but if you care to take a look at experiments such as the Commune de Paris where the people wanted and made a democratic socialist state, you'll find out how great it can be AND how evil is capitalism when it sees such threat.

  • if communism raises its ugly head in this country, there will be bloodshed. communism discourages people succeeding and discourages innovation for there's no reason to even try when there's no competition or no reward for achievement. every person is poor with communism. and you never answered my question about the doctor. what's the point of becoming something great, as such, when you'll be paid the same as someone with no education? larger government is always a really bad idea.

  • To your previous question:

In a communist system, education would be free and he wouldn't spend $350,000. Besides people can be rewarded with things different than material ones. Your nutshell keeps you from seeing different possibilities. Also, the "clown laying asphalt" would not exist once all should work according to his abilities.

Socialism would lead to a different ideology destroing ideas such as consumerism.

  • what would they be rewarded with? a kudos? humans like "things". i wouldn't even work under communism, i wouldn't have to. someone else can do my job and i still get paid the same. and as bloodshed goes, i would be the instigator of the bloodshed. what i'm saying is, there isn't going to be communism in the USA, or me and people like me will crush the communists. you want something in this world, you go and find it. i don't work for other people or a common good, i work for me, number one.

  • You may (perhaps) be the majority today, like the brainwashed masses are here in Brazil, but there is a growing minority willing to forsake this nutshell capitalism is and look a litte beyond their own live.

People must understand that people are not isolated beings, we are all related to each other.

But one can be rewarded with recognition, abstrations such as merit, not concrete things such as money. Money goes from father to son, merit doesn't, recognitions doesn't (shouldn't) go.

  • Even in the Soviet Union(distorced communism) the wages of a doctor and a factory worker weren't the same.

People reflect their society. They like thing because society like things.

Under communism... you don't seem to understand how to get to it. There is a transitory stage called socialism in witch the people ideology would be changed.

Bloodshed? ("Capital punishment cannot be justified in any place..." Karl Marx) what bloodshed?

For sure not soon, but one day for sure there will.

  • i'm sorry to say that i will never support socialism, including social security, medicaid, or medicare. me and two friends run our own business, and we make good money doing it. i do not want to give the people of my country money that they didn't earn. my grandfather served in the korean war, against communists. there's not a snowballs chance in hell that i would ever support any type of communism. like i said before, if you want socialism, don't come to the US. i worry about myself first.

  • Socialism refers to ANY ideology that seeks the elimination of classes. If you think a class system may be good, I aware you: Whenever and wherever there are classes there are be class struggles. Capitalism will fall due those struggles even if it takes 500 years for such.

Of course you won't support communism, you don't understand it. I want socialism and don't worry I won't go to the USA for such. The american people will make socialism in the USA in time.

  • I'm not sure you would care to read this, but I recommend you look into this excerpt from Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged" to see why "From each according to their abilities, to each according to their needs" is a concept which is ultimately doomed to failure (Part II, chapter X, page 605-618). There's no incentive to be productive under such a system, because showing potential only means more will be demanded of you for no additional benefit, and man's "needs" are limitless.

  • I will search for it, but don't bind yourself Ayn Rand is extremely right winger. But I'd have to disagree because in some primitive societies, there was a "communism" there was a "from each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs" and it didn't failed because of lack of incentive, but often because of wars (for other nations). And I guess man's need are limited, but his greed is limitless witch may lead to a dictatorship of a person very easily...

  • It's a good book. I can't say I agree with everything Rand says, but she nailed the root cause of the recession we're experiencing in America. Anyway, be careful not to confuse non-monetary societies for communist ones. While communism can theoretically work in very small communities, it has historically failed when implemented on a national scale. Its biggest problem, which also afflicts capitalism, is people who are unwilling to work and expect the system to carry them.

  • The Commune de Paris is an exemple of working socialism in a scale I'd call ratter good. Should all cities have their communes, we'd reach communism in time, either way beware the definitions. For the marxist ideas of communism and socialism, none government during the cold war (and after it) could be called such.

The ideas behind the communist manifesto were never left the paper, therefore it wasn't tested the right way. If you test a wrong way, it won't work...

  • I should additionally note that, as I have seen, it is the communists and socialists who seek to assign classes and labels to the populace, designating victim groups to which endless reparations must be paid and drawing lines of division through society which would otherwise not exist. In America, at least, it is consistently those on the left who prey on race and class and pit people against each other. Capitalism, true capitalism, rewards only ability and effort, ignoring such intangibles.

  • Regarless of our belifs, classes exists, dialectics exist, historical materialism exists. Try to explain ancient Rome without patritians and plebeums, or the middle ages without lords and serves. It is impossible to understand well history without the idea of classes. Capitalism has bourgois and proletarium, the Soviet Union had (despite its claims) state-beaurocrats and regular persons.

Classes and class strugles existed before communist. In all history we verifie them.

  • I think the biggest problem with your "pure communism" and my "pure capitalism" is that, while both are dynamite on paper, neither has or can ever been implemented. There is no such thing as utopia, because, as you observed, of the more destructive traits of human nature. Prejudice and exploitation of guilt, greed over rational self-interest, and laziness beyond legitimate limits to ability tend to cripple both systems to some degree. I'm not saying class doesn't exist, but that it is exploited.

  • lol, lol...

  • The Right: " Waaaaaaah! We Want A Republican! Waaaaaaah! Trickle-Down Economics Actually Works! Waaaaaaah! We Want To Go To War! Waaaaaaah! Global Warming Isn't Happening, Lalala I Can't Hear You, Global Warming Isn't Happening! Waaaaaaah! We're Right, You're Wrong. Lalalala. So SHUT UP LIBERALS! JUST SHUT UP!

Haha. It's really sad because every conservative I talk to eventually ends up sounding like this. Was your freshman Political Science class too hard for you? Most likely.

  • Maybe you'd get a more intelligent conversation out of your "opposition" if you didn't act like a petulant six-year-old. I guarantee your opinions would be treated with more respect.

  • Maybe you didn't pass the English courses in highschool but those are in quotations. The sad fact is that this is their argument in a nutshell and it always ends this way.

  • The quotes were intentional - I find the increasing polarization of this country to be both absurd and dangerous. We are supposed to be in this together, and straw-man arguments serve only to drive people apart.

Still, I find it funny that you are lecturing me on my writing skills after having posted the immature spiel I was responding to.

  • Was freshman science class to hard for you?

  • Was freshman English class *TOO* hard for you? Apparently so.
