  • so I gues so

  • It's never really important

  • @ThunderCatsHo100

    Hehe...... Um..... Never mind....

  • terrible

  • @ThunderCatsHo100 um...

  • the singer from postal service is so much better

  • @ThunderCatsHo100

    Oh you

  • Is that Chris Walla singing?

  • @DarkSideOfTheMoon991 no, the song was sang by Gibbard

  • does it drive anyone else crazy that the violin is really out of tune at 0:14?

    otherwise I love this song.

  • He could only bend his life to a calendar before severing the wires which kept his fingers up.

  • This song discourages me from cutting lengthwise and letting time pass. I am glad this song was written. I am actually glad the entire CD was made. DCfC is one of the little things in my life that helps to bring a smile to my face in the roughest of times...like now.

  • its a shame that songs like these go unnoticed by nearly the whole world

  • who knew what a way to cut lengthwise?

  • 3:38 WOW

  • Originals not necessarily better. Take Buckley's "Hallelujah" or Johnny Cash's "Hurt".

In fact, any Cash cover is instant win.

  • I lcce Death Cab's earlier stuff! It sounds so much more less worked on and live! I lveo it! Need this cd so bad!

  • BLOODY GOOD SONG

  • I hate slow songs, but this is cool... and creepy.

  • Wow, I love this song. Good song for mellow days...

  • this song oozes into places i didn't know existed in my soul. <3 i dunno wtf i'd do without music!

  • I love this song!

  • It's an amazing song, are there any songs you would like me to post?

and can you give ideas for pictures to put with anything?

  • i'd like ya to post "Why you'd want to live here"

It's on the Photo Album cd.

And for a vid of that, use a bunch of pics of city scapes, highways, and such.

  • hey, I'm sorry I don't have that song :S

I only have the Death Cab albums 'Something About Airplanes' and 'We Have The Facts And We're Voting Yes.'

  • 'We Have the Facts and We're Voting Yes'

is the only cd from them i don't have.

I recomment getting The Photo Album, then.

So far it's my favorite Death Cab cd.

  • Okay, I'll look out for it, I've been trying to get a hold of 'Plans' is it any good?

  • Plans?

    Yeah it's pretty good.

Slower than pretty much any other album by them.

    A lot of piano.

It's got Marching Bands of Manhattan, What Sarah Said, and I Will Follow You into the Dark (my favorite song by them EVER).

  • I've been learning 'I Will Follow You Into The Dark' on guitar recently, it's an unbelievable song, there are some really good covers of it!

  • Sorry, but i don't care for covers.

I kinda only like the real deal.

  • okay :)

  • Dude covers help people develop.

    And find their own voice.

Though having said that, i do agree that they're most of the time only worthwhile for the person doing the cover.

Though there are some killer covers out there.

  • I agree, but the originals are always better no matter what.

  • not always true. that is strictly a matter of your own opinion.

  • YESSSSS!

  • love plans

    and transatlanticism
