One of the most under appreciated bands ever. Great guitar work..great harmonies..great lyrics, melodies, teeth gritting live performances, the whole package
Unbelievable talent. You just don't find this today...vocals, musicianship and writing...and I know that's pretty cliche - but it's so true. Music in general has gone to the dogs in the last 15 years or so. It's all image.
The Alarm was such an under rated band! They were awesome but I agree that they never got the recognition they deserved! I always used to pump 68 Guns in my car stereo back in High school in 84!
TheRealArtzilla - funny you say that because I always thought Mike Peters sounded and looked like a blond Bono. The band's overall sound kind of reminded me of U2 also. High school in '84... yea man... good times.
love the band.saw them on their electric live folklore tour in 87 at 86 street music hall.place rocked all night long.those where the good old days.if they had the proper management i figured they would had been big like u2.still one of the best bands i like.great thanks for uploading video.cheers.ken
Thanks so much for doing that research. When tickertape82 asked that question, I tried finding the info, but it proved difficult. Where did you find that information anyway? :)
I remember listening to an interview of Mike Peters and Dave Sharp when that song came out in '87, and they were talking about how they had filmed the video in Spain. I think it was in or near Granada, to be more specific.
you are right about that. almost everytime i see one of their videos i alway see someone who say the same think 'they never got their due'. bummer, they really were a great band. stay cool.
What a great song.

When Nirvana appeared on the scene in the early 90's, it was all downhill. Those motherfuckers ruined everything.

AM 1590, KJET. I remember them playing this when I was about 17. Must've been around '89.
I have this album on vinyl. Damned awesome music from this time.
Thanks for posting this video!

A great song. The melody, the voice and instraments and lyrics it brings back younger days. Oh, youth. You don't appreciate it when your young.

Great song and great guitar work by Dave Sharp. For the viewer who was wondering whether this was Down Under, this was filmed in the south of Spain.

And the rumour is dave sharp did the guitar in one take....Thats insane, this song has one of my favoite guitar licks of all time.
I think the song is better live...this whole album was full of great songs...that were over produced IMO..
