in response to redbatshoes, who said the singer's voice was too pretty to play bright eyes, i disagree! the beauty of a cover is that it is a different interpretation of the song. the original is incredible, due in no small part to Conor's imperfections, but this is beautiful in a different way - a cover isn't meant to imitate the original, or else it would be boring! that's why ben gibbard's cover of thriller is so amazing...
