I can't decide, in some months i'm going to buy an HD cam, (cause i have a Canon HF100 and it's not really really good) i have a TRV900 and a VX700 to make SD montages but i want to make good HD montages too, so i really don't know if i have to buy a Canon HV40 or a Sony HC1... if you have any suggestions it will be awesome ;)
well, im kind of biased towards sony, but both are good HD cameras. their specs are nearly the same, so whichever you decide to choose, you'll have a good camera. the hc1 has a moveable viewfinder, which is more ideal for skateboarders. the hv40 does not. either way, your going to get a good camera.

Okay thnx, sure the viewfinder is bigger on the HC1 but the HV40 is newer... haha, so hard to take a decision :)
