  • Very nice.

  • Given that this was shot in 2002, wouldn't the Commuter Rail trains going to and from Providence have stopped at Readville? Seems to me it was only a few years ago when Readville was no longer a stop on the Providence Line.

  • Considering it was Thanksgiving weekend and probably running on a weekend schedule more then a commuter schedule I don't know... Video was shot on the date listed that's all I do know... Thanks for looking...

  • Wow I can't believe this was taken in 2002 and on Youtube in HD. Most videos taken prior to 2004ish are hard to even get in HQ, nevermind HD. Seeing those Regional consists was funny. Every train was different. Some trains had cafes way in the back and many had 2. Boy has Amtrak gotten themselves organized since then. It's a rarity to see a cafe car in a random spot now. It's always the 4th car on any train.

  • Well remember it was thanksgiving weekend and I imagine anything with wheels was being run...

  • That's true. I don't think Amtrak usually messes with the Washington-Boston sets though. The only difference I've seen in consists during Thanksgiving week was on the New York-Washington trains. Equipment from MARC and NJT are leased and put on the back of regular consists.

  • Very Nice, i went Readville Station on Wednesday and filmed in the same spot you were lol. You can check the video out on my my front home page
