This video is literally some four minutes of Bill Maher mocking a seemingly friendly gentleman who is innocently deluded. I can understand being harsh with televangelists or "faith scientists" who others look to for answers, but this is just intellectual bullying. The more I watch of Maher the more I see him as pure cynical scum. Dawkins at least appeals to his interviewees. Maher is a joke. People who are respectful like the man in this video deserve respect regardless of what they believe.

at the same time we have to deal with the other side of the coin that says if something cannot be explained, it must be god! Science can't explain everything but the desire to know the truth is what seperates it from blind faith. Human beings are social creatures that cannot handle being alone. Our pride will not allow us to accept the fact that we MAY have been made by the same means and for the same reason as everything else. For some, story book characters aren't enough.

This interview was one reason why I couldn't get halfway through that piece of junk "documentary" (it doesn't even have the guts to be called a joke). Terrible interviews who he can tell would be terrible reps for Christianity. No balance in the types of people he would interview- all of them simply could not give much of a good argument against his "reason"ing. He tried to interview one other Christian leader, but cut it out when that guy proved to be very intellectual.

As a Buddhist, it seems as though Christianity, the branches under Protestants, are over the top, there is too much fanaticism. The reason why I think the majority of other Religious people and atheists become angry is that, it's usually the Christian missionaries that go around telling people that they are going to go to hell if they don't believe in God.

Probably because there's many justified ways for suicide, like if you're slowly dying, you can end it, or extremely depressed. And there are over 24,000 Manuscripts of the Bible and with the average gap between the original composition and the earliest copy is over 1,000 years for other books. I thus proof that the Bible is one of the most reliable in the world.
