  • Curitiba's BRT is definitely an efective and efficient transportation mode. However, the stations are rather small were not designed to handle the impending population growth. The cilindrical shape restricts volume. Bogotá's BRT, on the other hand, was designed to handle large volume of pedestrians, both inside the stations and also crossing the busy and dangerous streets that give access to them. For this purpose every station has elevated ramps that are aesthetically attractive and effcicient.
