I got Tango'd at school, around the freaking ears! They did it all wrong, it's the cheeks and from the front not back! It's one of the single most unpleasant things that has happened to me!

when i went to the Bradford museum of film and TV they gave us a lecture about tht advert. basically when it came out kids, as u sed, copied it and went around slapping thier mates or random kids. However one day one boy decided to do it to his friend but rather than slap his cheeks he slapped him in the ears and burst both his ear drums deafaning him. so then they changed it to the orange guy giving the drinker a big kiss instead. just shows u the power of advertising!

HA!! I remember this ad when I lived in Germany!!! (I had the Sky one channel). I remember seeing this once and then it disapeared. Also heard about it being banned at the Wikipedia site.

I dunno; I had my ear clapped a while back. Although I was lucky enough not to get deafened in that ear, it's still a very unpleasant experience. Out of the two I definitely prefer the cheeks!
