@denimpixie Hmm I guess I'll try both. I actually need something for a wedding I'm in this May. Since, I live in East TN the humidity is all year around. How long did it take for either to dry?

@artchick07 My hair is low porosity, so no matter what product I use, it takes my hair 10+ hours to fully dry. Often, I do my hair in the morning and when I go to bed the roots are still wet.

@denimpixie Is our hair related? I've cut my hair from my elbow to my shoulders and it still takes a good 2 days to dry. So I'm cutting this life form to about your length but with bangs. Hopefully then it will try in like 8 hrs and I won't be horrified that I'll catch it on fire with a bunsen burner.

This product is such a hit or miss. In my case unfortunately it was an epic fail! Sucked the moisture out of it and still can't get my hair back. And don't even get me started on all the flakes it gave me! The Aloe Fix Lite was also a disaster!

Man, i so wanted to like it as i LOVE the smell! :'(

Have you tried the CJ Curl Queen without the smoothing lotion? Just bought the curl queen but I didn't get the smoothing lotion just wondering if it's gonna work well with nothing underneath.  Any guidance you can provide on the CJ products would be great!!! You are my go to CJ guru!!! I bought the CJ rehab and curl queen.

@renee032 Yes, and it's great! I've tried it with a number of leave-ins, and I must say, I haven't been disappointed yet. I also like it a lot with AG Re:Coil. Clumpy, fat, curls!

I think its odd that *some* people on the NC board will want to strangle you if you DARE want a relaxed curl for this or that style. I'm like, isn't a twist out relaxing your curls mwahaha!?

@NurseNike I haven't seen people like that on the NC board (at least not currently)...I made the comment about curl loosening b/c I didn't want to do the video if my curls were loosened, because I didn't want people to think it was the gel that did it and get their hopes up, then buy it and get pissed b/c their hair wasn't elongated.
