Not to criticize, but I was also hoping for the logos from TNG, DS9, Voyager, and Enterprise.  Won't worry about the animated series since that and TOS are pretty much the same.

But a good history of the logos though.

Actually, in 1979 the title font was originally white. When they released the Directors Cut, they changed it to the golden polished look.

Just sayin'.

Also, the title is "History of Star Trek Title Logos". So, I do agree that all of the various logos should be here. But, it is cool how close the new "metalic" logo is to the original one.

thirdclass pretty much hit the same points I was going to hit - no TNG, DS9 or VOY logos, and you're missing The Cage logo, and yeah, the original TMP title was all white letters - you can see it on some of the old TMP VHS tapes (before the director's cut came out.)

You're correct, but it also has the original 1966 Star Trek *TV SHOW* logo at the beginning. Unless I'm horribly wrong, the original "Star Trek" TV show wasn't released in theaters.

But if there hadn't been a TV show, no movies would have followed ... ergo TOS's graphic needed to be on there, but not the others. But you can make your own and put whatever you like on it.

The title shown for ST:TMP is actually from the 2001 Director's Cut.

It was originally white letters against a black background.

Shouldn't the other TV titles been shown, since the one from TOS was the first one shown? Also, for completeness, the title style from "The Cage" should've been first shown.
