  • White people never grow huh. Always tempted to hurt other different racial people with racist comments.

  • Racism=Ignorance. There will always be ignorant people in the world, so sadly, racism will last a very long while. Just ignore those people, they're unimportant and their values are skewed.

  • same guy that make those Leung cartoon on SBS?

  • If its boring its cause your a boring person

  • Waw, I accidentally came here and saw this movie.. very touching indeed. It makes me realize how vulnerable life is.

  • it's deep in a sense that it compares being blind but not even seeing you're family and being able to see but sees the world as disturbing. For me it says that we should enjoy what we're seeing and not look at the negative side of it whether we're blind or not.

  • Incredible animation. Gorgeous style and touching story.

  • once I ve BURNED my RIGHT hand PRETTY badly AND it BEEN disabled FOR a WHILE ... some THINGS i MANAGE do WITH the LEFTY without ANY problem (JUST slower) but FOR the REST i HIRED a HOOKER

  • Cherish Your Life.

  • Blindness has always been my greatest fear :( If I turned blind I couldn't live with myself

  • @qaz474 You can still live life with other senses, Why do you think we have 5 senses?

  • @bxdfm13 I don't want to be in a world consumed in darkness and oblivion thats all

  • @sookie463 what the fuck is funny about Chopsitcks. You seriously need to grow up.

  • @sookie463 i found this video reli tuching and sweet..but i, too did find that bit hilarious.

  • what a hypnotic video

it is a little similar to the pc game called thief

  • that was a good short story but all i could think of is that the first thing that dads going to say if he gets his eyesight is wow kid your one ugly son of a bitch lmao

  • it made me cry...

  • sight is the worst sense to lose by far... :(

  • @shazam963 I believe that the sense of hearing would be as or even more drastic. I have partial hearing loss and consequently have hearing aids. Shut up in my own head, I can't imagine it. I am a great lover of music, which is partly why I would lament the loss of hearing so greatly, but seeing the green of the grass and the windblown leaves makes my day ten times better. So I partially agree with you.

  • that was nice :)

  • it's really moving... I can't even imagine how is it to be blind, it has to be horrible :(

  • amazing

  • amazing

  • beautiful, touching story. Interesting presentation. Being from Hong Kong, I felt that I could really relate to some of those opening scenes. Thanks for sharing!

People should seriously read the credits more. The Narrator is NOT the character in the story, neither is he the director.

"Roberto Salvatore" doesn't sound very Asian to me.

  • Beautiful

  • wow man it's i don't now how say maby tuch my soul

  • this is great

  • Stunning work, thank you for sharing!

  • you racist bastards are too dumb to see the brilliance of this story. It's Touching and amazing, and you guys only noticed their race. How pathetic are you.

  • AGREED.

  • really cool

  • Close your eyes...

This video seems to be made so you could see everything with your ears as if the veary images u saw you can hear distinctly

  • Wow as people we take so much for granted. My aunt has MS and she's loosing her sight in one eye. I can't imagine living without sight. Love ya auntie XoXo

  • where can i see the rest of the vid?

  • weird, the part were they put a drop in his eye is my fave

  • This is such a beautiful story made me sad.

  • Is's really hard to live like they.

  • Not really about the action within the video, since it focuses on (ironicly chosen words) opening our eyes. To get a kind of understanding how exactly a blind person live their lives.

  • what does this have to do with me not liking the video?

  • Nothing really, but wasn't sure whether or not you recieved the content of the video. But I suppose that everyone has different taste.

  • was that an australian acsent

  • duh yeah

  • That was really touching.

  • this guy is definitely from HK (or ABC-HK)

  • i dont get it...

  • Nice and original, going to check out the making of....nice!

  • which software did u use for this animation??? pliz reply...

  • you can see how the director made the film in the "making of" - it's the video response just above.

  • this was touching. i appreciate my eyesight immensely now

  • Thank you for this video. I have had several blind friends (and more than friends) and they have changed my life for the better. I hope you do invent that scope one day.... not just for your Dad. Some of the images were educational - I am interested in the images people see when not completely blind.

  • what program did you make the end credits with?

  • after effects~

  • anyone know how to make credits like this with After Effects? any links?

  • you just turn everything into 3d layers in after effects and set the camera and move it~

  • it must be hard 2 never see the ones u love

  • Pretty cool! i was use glasses for 20 years... i know a little bit what mean to be blind.

  • A little bit dry?! I thought it was touching...there is someone talking about what many people are most afraid of!

  • genious!!

  • amazing! truely an inspiring piece of artwork! That's right. I called it artwork.

  • that was inspiring

  • am so inspired mann u hav kno idea

  • sad

  • I was in a wheelchair when I was a teenager. I'll probably be in a wheelchair within the next 30 years. It's hard to understand how precious our bodies are until they just don't work right.

This video was very well done. Simple but complex. Very good.

  • wow this must've been set in hong kong!

    i live there too :D

  • LOVED THIS!! especially the eye drop scene.. that was very creative.

I also loved how you put colour to all the 'meaningful' things/ objects that had importance of the story telling.. and the symbolic colour which is obviously a pleasurable stimuli of this specific sensory.

  • :( yet :)

  • very poetic, yet not very very meaningful. i give it 4 stars.

  • Wow! Touching, sad, yet beautiful! Amazing job!

  • this discribes something sad, but its beautiful and happy

  • has anyone wathed the entire credits yet?

  • This is a wonderful video. My eyesight is distorted, but I am grateful I can still see. I'm glad I had an opportunity to see this film. :)

  • sad and touching. i've always wondered about the sad fact that those who've always been blind prob don't even know what they themselves or the ones close to them look like, and have always found it very sad.

well done for making that a salient point in your video.

  • good luck!!!

  • So sad!So many dollars wasted in space programs and other irrelevant things come on give the money to medical science and hungry people all over the world!!!

  • I agree, another thing that gets me is that people would save an animals life before a person

  • Yes, people often overact.

  • 5 stars. and well worth it. Its the best youtube video I've seen in a long time. Thank you.

  • This is so beautiful. I love how the animation is really simple. The part about the moon's reflection in a puddle gave me goosebumps.

  • i love this..

watched it a while ago.. and it stills gives me goosebumbs
