  • I have a Corsair 650 watt, cables are very similar. I've seen some videos with people that have flipped the PSU, and it works fine. What you could do is drill a hole directly under the fan, put in a grill/filter in the hole along with some U channel rubber and have it grab some air from underneath the case. That wouldn't work if your case is sitting on carpet of course.

Also you could snag some computer case feet, cut those till they have enough clearance for the bottom and put em in that way

  • how did you screw that in?

  • will this fit in a p180 mini?

  • im not sure....

  • Yes. It would, What you can do. Get some MotherBoard Risers/Stablisers. (There brass/ steel things that rasie teh mother board) then drill 4 holes in the bottom and put the risers in the holes, and you can usse hot glue or something to hold them in. The hot glue the PSU to the risers, and your done. Good Luck.

  • have a look at mine

  • when you want to flip your PSU over, then you should drill holes at the bottom...

  • no dont flip it ower :) if u do that u shold drill the hole on bottom

  • Drill out the bottom and flip it doing it to mine lines up perfect so far it seems

might need taller feet only got 1/4 in or so on stock ones getting 1 1/4 from performance-pcs soon to fix it and getting filter

  • if you truely want to flip it. cut out a hole on the bottom of the case where the fan is going to face and install a dust filter as well.

but the good thing about having it facing up is that the fan is also cooling your gpu's by exhausting out the hot air that is around them.

my question, would you say that this power supply delivers enough power to run an i7 920 and two gtx 260 in sli?

  • Yeah I'm wanting to know the same thing.

  • IF you go to Corsairs site and use their compatibility guide, they ask your processor, GPU and how many (2) - The recommended PSU they suggest (no matter how many hard drives you choose) is 750 or 850W and upwards! (mainly 850W and higher - only once did they suggest 750W but NEVER 650W. Hope this helps.

  • There is another option, it is to swap your power supply for a fanless one this will then solve the problem that you face, and you will be able to drill the hole where you want.

  • Like bionic cow said i dont think its a good idea flipping the powersupply upside down but you cold always just buy cable extensions which would probably work very well i have the same case myself and my cables are a mess.

  • Hey.

If you flip your power supply over you will defs burn it out as it will not get any air into it! So i wouldnt reccommend flipping it over.

As for the hole i think you couls still drill the hole there and the cables should still be able to reach!
