I think she's doing well. Once you're off the side she's just showing you the basics. She's quite clear, but it took me six sessions to get off the side.

anyway, I learnt ice skating by myself, I know how to go backwards in two different types, and I still don't know how to stop. I just slow down, or crush with the wall :) Maybe her advice can help. Guess I'll wait for the snow and check it out.
