I will be honest Jordan was the best scorer ever, Kobe in his best years 2nd to Jordan as greatest scorers ever.But Magic is the greatest playmaker ever. I am certain Magic could make any team today a major threat. If I had to start a fanchise I would pick Magic over Jordan. While Jordan would be a sure go to scorer, Magic would break the defense and have the other guys score. After all 4 or 5 guys scoring is better than 1 so Magic over Jordan.

Magic Johson was the greatest point guard of alltime. Nobody used the entire 94 feet like he did. The ability to advance the ball either with the pass or the dribble.

Because of his height he could see over defenders in traffic. When he developed his low post game he was the complete package.

The hook shot, the spin moves, could go with either hand. The ability to survive contact and get the shot off and get to the free throw line.
