Yes, it's definitely good. I just finished it a couple days ago, and my only complaint is that it leaves so many questions! I hope to eventually be able to afford the manga - I can't even find a history book that has more than one sentence on the Shinsengumi to tide me over.

I've found out nearly everything I could about the Shinsengumi. XD I'm actually not very surprised to see that Okita Souji was so thin. But he looked a lot better than I expected since a lot of sites said that he was described to have a flat fish face. He's actually quite handsome, but he's not a patch on the real Hijikata Toshizou. XD
