I have a Catholic Bible; the last book is titled "The Revelation to John (The Apocalypse)." So, It's a word game to include the word apocalypse in the title of a book that describes an apocalypse? It takes neither discernment nor wisdom to realize that the book is describing "the end" of times as revealed to John.

It is a description of Christ as it is in Revelation-His Deity (the horns are crowns)and sacrifice for our sins (throat cut), and the eyes for His omniscience. I know it may seem creepy but the Antichrist gets a pretty bad description in Revelation and Daniel

Don't you know when these things occur? Most of these Scriptures are of the Last Day, when He returns. Like the Supper of the Great God, hasn't happened yet. That is Armageddon and the Scripture with Everyone in Heaven,on the earth and under the earth worshiping God and giving Him praise is still yet to occur. These Scriptures are from Revelation.

I have a Catholic Bible; the last book is titled "The Revelation to John (The Apocalypse)." So, It's a word game to include the word apocalypse in the title of a book that describes an apocalypse? It takes neither discernment nor wisdom to realize that the book is describing "the end" of times as revealed to John.
Apparently, you seem to lack the wisdom or wit to recognize the divine irony of a Babe in swaddling clothes that from his very birth was all-powerful, and could conquered even death.

Not so much when as WHERE! There's a plethora of RC statues, icons, stained-glass windows, etc. that depict Christ in all of these ways. If there is an emphasis on Christ's suffering, it is because the RCC doesn't sugar-coat the difficulty of being a Christian and following the Christ who died to save us. As the RCC has given Christianity the Bible as we have it today, why should only outside of scripture count?
