AAAAAHHHHHHHHH! Stop calling it Poke!!!! I grew up there my whole childhood and teenage life and never once called it poke! It's p-o-L-K. POLK. It has always been Polk....and pronounced "Polk".....not poke----which is so annoying.
@MeBeG I agree!! POKE drives me crazy too!! I grew up in the Shenango Valley and heard it called both. What about President P-O-L-K, not President POKE.
I was amazed to see my little village of Polk on YouTube! I still live here, my family has lived in Polk for over 100 years. I also used to work at Polk Center, but my husband still does.
