I don't think it's dangerous if you're just going through the city. They said it was like the movie "I am Legend". Just quiet and empty.

So yes, I think it's worth it. It's kinda scary being there.

Wth...?!? North Korea is probably one of the safest places on earth as a tourist. You 've got a 27/7 escort, crime is so to say non-existing due to the hard regime and you're only allowed to venture on certain locations picked by the authorities. If there was any dangers at all vacationing in N.Korea, it would probably be due to an American/South Korean attack.. And should you do something stupid ( except spying or mobilising riots ), you'll only get sent out of the country..

I went there last year with my BFs family. we were even allowed to stand outside of the reactor that blew up, we were only allowed to be there for 10 mins though, but we walked through pripyat and we were there for the whole day. when we were leaving they tested everyone to see if we were contaminated though.
