Yeah, just by watching these you could tell stuff was obviously cut out. I don't know what the hell Rotunda is talking about. DEEP THROAT was in '72 and that was certainly hardcore and there were a ton of other titles then also.

@stiv70 Not hardcore, R rated. Today they'd be NC-17. These were the movies that brought in the crowds at the drive-ins in my youth. Everyone likes Candice Rialson in these, sorry to say she passed on last year in her 50s.

@stiv70 Nope, R. There wasn't much hardcore until the later 70s. Debbie Does Dallas was X but most Drive-ins played the R version which was only slightly shorter, and just as good anyway.

That's weird because most of the reviews I've read say that they are pornos. But I guess they are using the term loosely. They look awesome either way.

@stiv70 --- Probably too late for this, but contrary to rotunda57's response, one movie in this collection, Sometime Sweet Susan, WAS a hardcore production. The version of that film in this collection is an edited version. Still steamy, but about ten minutes shorter than the uncut version. I'm fairly certain that Blue Summer may also have existed in a hardcore cut as well. The other two were definitely NOT hardcore. By the way, rotunda57, hardcore films go back MUCH further than the late 70's!
