No, it's not. It's the video for the song Redemption song; it's on Streetcore(which obviously was recorded before Joe died, but it was released posthumously) This video was released much earlier than the documentary : )
I'm not saying he was not a great artist. You have to be stupid to judge me just because I expressed my opinion about his voice. Marley's version is a 1000 times better, no way.
IMAO Joe should be made a Saint. He did all the benefit gigs that others wouldn't touch with a barge pole, because they weren't big enough. If anyone should cover Sir Bob it's Joe.
I love this clip, I play it at least three times a week but the "Do I like Jessica Simpson" ads in the top right really fucking piss me off...give it a break google!!

i belive his aim in life was to change people and make them think and hes done that so he lives on inside all of the people that can see the true side of his music
Not a punk. Not even a musician. That box is much to small to hold what it was that was really inside the man. It may seem really cheesey and sickly sweet, but i do not feel this was not a song i just listened to. This was a bit of a soul that leaked out and left itself where anyone can hear and relate.
It was not a song for melodical purpose' it's just a simple tribute to a man that gave a lot of hope and insperation to some people..you may not think he was a musician, but to a lot of people he was...The clash were great and I hope their music lives on forever.
Joe Fucking Strummer...he could make a tape of himself farting into a phone and it would be infinitely more relevant than any of today's alleged punk crap. Can't fucking believe he's gone.
Bring humanity inthe center of the ring for a while. I wish Je ws alive to show us the right and moral way. I guess he gave us the tools to do it for ourselves. That's called a Phrophet. Funny word profit, phrophet
« Penso che la gente debba sapere che noi dei Clash siamo anti-fascisti, contro la violenza, siamo anti-razzisti e per la creatività. Noi siamo contro l'ignoranza. » (Joe Strummer)
A mural like that could never be kept sacred in Cali. I was visiting my college buddy this summer and he took me to see the Elliott Smith mural, and some lame-ass Crip set (at least he said it was Crip) had tagged it, like a fucking dog marks a tree. At least in New York, if someone tried fucking with Joe's mural, he'd have a gang of livid punks to deal with.
This is an honest and valid version of a song by a man who earned the right to sing whatever he pleased. Same goes for the man who wrote it. RIP Joe and Bob.

Joe Strummer was a great man; a legend who is still admired today. He wrote great music and his songs had messages. He wanted to make the world a better place, and he wasn't afraid to speak his mind. Joe was a fantastic social commentator and arguably one of the best non-elected politicians independent of any political party that our formally great country has produced.
The song captures the sadness of his untimely death. For me, Joe rightly deserved to die an old man warm in his bed rather than in mid-sentence. He hadn't finished talking and I certainly hadn't finished listening.
