The Bull run is a basque tradition, the animals are slaughtered with swords which takes some effort afterwards - I think its disgraceful that anyone other than a local would participate. Ok to clear a few things up.

1. This is a Basque festival not Spanish, most of these people are Basque or Tourists

2. This bull is just let out for entertainment purposes, it is not involved in the bullfight or bullrun

3. We kill our almost all of our bulls at birth. The ones in the fight live a good existance out in the fields, followed by 30 mins of distress which is masked by adrenaline anyway. Im not saying its better but really is it worse????
