Im not a religious person at all...far from it. You don have to believe an ounce of any religious message....he is not trying to convert a non-believer to God...he is trying to teach and hopefuly avoid a person from addiction.

It's my first time responding to a video on YouTube, and I must say that it's nice to see that there are such uplifting videos as this one with Fr. Martin. However, it's sad that critical people don't want to allow others their freedom to be happy, joyous and free through the 12-steps.

I met Father Joe many moons ago - matter a fact in 1988. He carries a message which still resonates in my mind. He did so much for recovering alcoholics - whithout stuffing his believes down anyone's throat ... He truly lived the 12 Steps and 12 Traditons of AA.

why would you need to threaten people with heaven or hell. If you need to be threatened, you are not a moral person, because God could tell you to fly a plane into the world trade center so you could go to heaven.

@conman2317 being moral wont get you into heaven anyway. all have sinned and fell short of the glory of god. only the blood of christ shed for you can save. it is by grace, not intentions or actions that we are saved.
