Say I was trying to get somewhat of a Jack White type fuzz tone, something intense but not quite metal sounding. Which of your pedals would you recomend?
I just bought this pedal and it definitely does not sound like this. I regret buying it. It has hardly any sustain and I need to play really hard for it to sound at all. Sorry Devi, but this one was a disappointment.
@Hollindagain No, I ordered it from a shop in Oregon through Ebay. I sent it back for them to check, but they said there was nothing wrong. Maybe I'm just not good with settings? Only thing is, all my other pedals work fine when I set them one up including Earthquake Devices's Hoof fuzz pedal, Boss's DD6 delay pedal, Vox's Wah and Electroharmonix's Pulsar tremolo pedal. It's only worked decently a few times, but even then, I can never control it nor get that gritty fuzz like in the video!
@themodernwarhol If you using a non true bypass pedal or two in the mix sometimes it causes problems also they are using just this one pedal in the vid you should also make sure that you wah goes first cause it sucks up most of the signal and then the fuzz otherwise it screws with the wah a bit i had the same problem with my Dwarfcraft Devices Shiva but all i had to do was change the position in line and it fixed it just make sure you delay is at the end wah is first and fuzz is second.

Hey Devi. I bought the pedal recently and I really dig the sound, but it is very noisy when I'm not playing. I don't know if this is my rig, a defect, or if the pedal is just made this way, but it seems to be very noisy when played alone. I need to turn my gate threshold very high to cut most of it out.
well the main thing with turning the volume up is that it gets very loud. I've noticed it starts to sound more like a standard fuzz tone when the volume is cranked however.
Wow... I love you Devi Ever for putting together my favorite game and effect in such a bad ass way! <3 I cant believe I only recently found out about Devi Ever FX... I've been missing out on so much, coulda gotten a Hyperion so looong ago!!!
Amazing pedal this thing! IMO the Fuzz Factory's got too many knobs and too high a sensitivity... These thing is super simple and sounds pretty damn good. Full out retro fuzz...
I WILL get this pedal, I too love the graphic, but I'd buy it even if it were an unpainted metal brick, 'cuz the sound is sick sick sick!!!!!!!!!G.Center just got in this one too on their site, my casio keyboard is going to sound evil through this thing.

@ArtistToBeNamedLater I'd try a Torn's Peaker. It can do a lot of things based on your tone and volume.

@themodernwarhol Most likely your input level was too low or you didn't crank up the intensity enough.
devieverfx 11 months ago
@devieverfx So you can get a long sustain (as the big muff) with this one?

@themodernwarhol Maybe it's your equipment.

@Xevamir Maybe. I play with a Fender Jaguar HH on a Marshall amp.

Don't know which i like better...that snazzy paint job, or that beautiful jag. The only guitar i've ever enjoyed playing that had more than 1 knob

Can this pedal provide me with INSANE oscilation?
or do you know one that does? (besides fuzz factory)
andrewtheguitarman92 2 years ago
You want the Devi Ever Truly Beautiful Disaster. More oscillation than you can probably handle. ;)

It's there, third from the top of the list at the website. The gate is pretty good.

It's a much more usable MXR Blue Box basically. Not sucking 30-40% volume from your tone is a good enough improvement really.
hagenkirk 2 years ago 4
I have an MXR Blue Box and I don't think it sucks volume. Do you mean something else?
MageMayu 2 years ago
the older models have the a pretty noticeable volume drop.
