truthfully any car can be saved....2 years ago i bought a 79 trans am that was as shitty as this one.....today it looks like it just came off the assembly line....although doing stupid shit in a fast car is fun i would never do it to such and amazing car like this....but it looks like you had fun wich is what these cars are made for right ....i just hope it didnt end up getting crushed...hopfully someone did or will restore it someday so people can continue to enjoy these cars
the only reason it is a 70s icon is because of Smokey and the Bandit, and they trashed more cars then we did but the ones they trashed were nice this one was just a rusted out Firebird.
@ohljason yeah they trashed them when they were still in productoin!, thats like trashing a thousand brand new chargers or w.e it doesent matter cause they are gunna get new for that show and people can still get one if they want one, but that car you wrecked that could of easily been restored, cant just be bought anywhere at anytime.
if you knew anything about how firebird car bodies were made, you would know that that car was not salvageable. sure the rust could be bondo'ed out but there was quite a large dent on the rear right quarter panel. this car is a unibody...no replacement parts back there. the car was scrap metal

you cant save all of them, if you saved a nova from the crusher Im sure you got some used parts off other cars, cars that could've been saved. so that means you trashed a few too. the diferents is we had a weeked of fun with this one before it was scraped.

if you knew anything about how firebird car bodies were made, you would know that that car was not salvageable. sure the rust could be bondo'ed out but there was quite a large dent on the rear right quarter panel. this car is a unibody...no replacement parts back there. the car was scrap metal
