I did a reserach paper on Stem Cell research in my Senior year of high school I learned loads of stuff about stem cell research at first I was against it but after seeing this video and learning what it can cure I'm for it. BTW I got an A+ on that paper which was seven pages long when orginally it was suppost to be 5 as the teacher quoted "Exellent point of view and good use of the Family Guy video as an example"

Dear one, you may be misinformed about the difference between adult stem cell research, which only use some of a person's stem cells and are successful and ethical, and embryonic stem cell research, which use all of a person's cells (by killing the embryonic person), and which have not produced cures at this time. It's neither ethical nor necessary to take a life to save a life. If blobs of human cells are considered "not a legal person", then all blobbed cells are now non-persons, incl u & me.

Embryonic stem cells are harvest between 4 days and a few weeks (assuming 3-4) after fertilization. If we consider some one dead or to put it better, no longer alive, when their heart stops beating, should we consider an embryo who's heart hasn't even beat yet to be a person? Aside from that, it is believed that fetuses don't feel pain until at least 18 weeks. Although the embryo is "killed"

There are certain ethical boundaries that once crossed can only be re-crossed with great difficulty. In China today, they execute political prisoners by harvesting their kidneys, livers, lungs,& hearts, keeping them alive only long enough to finish their grisly execution. When you experiment on an embryo, this is the first step in that direction. Just stop it....now !
