Here comes the explanation, martian eyes, in this case means like a weird looking, someone who is looking at you with eyes that don't correspond to human, so they look at you as if you were martian. Then is kinda about a person who is homosexual and this person wants to live as a straight person, the chorus says actions that are started and finished, that means life is dull for this person trying to be someone who is not. And the end is about the person trying to be in a safe place, but scared.
