at 17 Kidd was way ahead of Rubio at 17 believe that. If you left Kidd on Rubio 48 min Rubio would only have that highlight to show for it. Kidd at 17 was playing against NBA players and on the hard courts of Oakland Ca way better competition than Rubio.
At 35 Kidd was just leaning in to see what rubio had he found out. With a player like Kidd Rubio doesn't do it again

I don't think it's really fair to compare Rubio and Kidd, considering they are playing in two different styles of the game. The NBA has a heavy focus on one-on-one action, and Jason Kidd makes things exciting by being an avid passer. European basketball, on the other hand, is more team-orientated, with less one-on-one stuff, and Rubio just picks the plays apart with his amazing vision. Both players are good; one play does not determine a player.
