@pumpum800 I completely agree! I thought I was the only one who didn't like it until I read your comment. It is so slow and the graphics are flickery and too dark. The music is the only good thing about it!
Back in 80s, I used to play this for hours engaging enemies and trying to beat them down. I never thought of just walking through the room as if there is no one in. It's so easy. I feel stupid now :)
That music really takes me back. Great tune, although the gfx were a bit bland. As it's flip screen you'd have thought they'd put more detail into the backdrops, possibly used mode 0 instead. Anyway with this game it's more about design and stuff, I can't remember if I ever completed it.
20 Years since I've played that game on my Amstrad CPC!
I remember a classmate owned the Schneider Ver. with a green Screen. I've mocked him for that. ;) Yet another classmate laughed at both of us, because he had an Amiga already! ;D
Anyway, I liked it, which is a bit awkward from todays point of view. It can't be disclaimed that there was no level design at all, but there were three things that lasted in my mind until that day: the moon, the caves and... panthers??? What's wrong with dogs? ;)
indeed there are many things to in this game. In mission 1 all you have to do is escape in time. Later missions require you to get upto 14 pieces of paper, kill a number of guards, use the papers to "fix" the missile, disable electic fence .. and escape on the bike in a shorter and shorter time.
The last mission is impossible to do in the short timelimit, i think. Donno if this is a programming/conversion error or the spectrum version is also impossible too.
whaou!! that was one of my favorite game when i was a child, and i still have the music in my head, but LOL when i think that i wasn't able to finish the first mission! this map seems so long to me when i was a child ! LOL thank for uploading this !
Well, this is the only recording, but back in the 80' i did run most of the missions even tho the last of them are nearly impossible (with the thin time limit).
Note that the playfield dosnt change from level 1 and on .. Its just a very large maze and the "higher" the level you get the more you need to do before escaping on the bike (like pick up tape pieces or turn off the electric fence). I may attempt to do a last level run and record it but cant garantee im still up to it ;)
I taught it was only 1 level

I preferred the first one, but this was good too. The enemies seemed more badass. Instead of soldiers and dogs, we have combat robots and panthers!!!

It's a shame that this game were so terribly slow on our CPCs. The level design is great and the gameplay is quite good.
