Waylon Jacobs played Simba when I was there wednesday and , I think Waylon Jacobs is better singer than Andile Gumbi (according to this vid)! But they are both so amazing! The musical is so brilliant, I had tears in my eyes!

Actually, this clip is of Roger Wright, who was the original Simba in the London production. Shaun Escoffery currently plays the role of Mufasa in London.

The London version of this musical, I think, is the strongest of any other prodution.

Personal preference.. However, no cast will ever come close to the Original Broadway Cast of TLK. Heather Headley, Jason Raize, Tsidii Le Loka, etc. One heck of a cast.
